i completely failed to see it in his london run over christmas / new year, which really annoyed me. however, i then found out he is doing one night in richmond in june or something, so i will be getting some tickets for that!0 -
Got lift to shop bought things like chocolate and crisps, forgot corned beef. Now realise i really don't want to eat them, but should have some stuff in 'the naughty cupboard' for reserve anyway. In fact we do already have some crazy crisps dh bought that neither of us have ever seen before, sweet corn flavour (he told me today he has now found egg nog flavour crisps too)..0

Tasting Menu £180/person http://www.thefatduck.co.uk/The-Menus/Tasting-Menu/
They say the 12.5% is optional, that'd be £22.50 alone.
My dad used to say about rich people "You can only eat one meal at a time"... I guess he never realised you can eat one, but pay for 20.
i think missk is now leader in the posh alert stakes for this year, cos oh's birthday meal in jan only cost £395.36 in total, including service charge.
congratulations missk. you are the poshest person here (of the year so far).0 -

Earlier I cooked up a pack of Rice Fusions, 2 boiled eggs and the remainder of my (2 years out of date) curry sauce mix.... served in a bowl, eaten with a big spoon, while sitting with my legs crossed on the sofa under a blanket.
It was tasty though. Run out of eggs now though..... and rice.
Total cost: 70p0 -
