This is a major need.
I need the software to do a complete backup of my desktop hard disk, which has frothing capacitors and could go at any moment.
I want to be able to copy the who,e thing over to the ext HDD then when I get a new computer, copy it onto the new computer and just carry on as before.
Am I asking the impossible?
Why not back up to DVD/CD and just install it to your new PC when it arrives?
It's all the easier if you have a good file structure, You do have a good file structure, don't you silvercar?!0 -

Who's asked people to post "real" threads, rather than all the fishing going on?
You just don't want to know LJ
Nice to see lir let you out of her dungeon in the end0 -

That's brilliant and a good confidence boost as now he knows he can do the subject.
We had mixed results, the resits from last summer went well but the new papers weren't amazing, so 2 of them will be done again this summer (which is when most schools would have sat them anyway).
So at least this summer we are down to 5 exams. One subject is virtually sorted with only an average grade needed to achieve an A overall, the others will require serious work, but it does mean that the Bristol offer is potentially possible so he will be holding on to that offer.
Weirdly, James has also been looking at Bristol, although his heart is still with Nottingham Trent but Bristol had a degree that was very much up his street. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

it's very very very good.
They only serve the tasting menu and OH had the deluxe wine tasting menu. Service @12.5% is included but worth it.
It's like the stuff you watch on tv but it's real and happening on your plate. Food is excellent. 14 courses is a lot and you do feel like exploding at the end but you also get to take home the final course. There is an optional cheese course at the end but you really have to be a proper greedy guts to eat that.
I've got some photos but currently trying to fight this cold.0 -

Tasting Menu £180/person http://www.thefatduck.co.uk/The-Menus/Tasting-Menu/
They say the 12.5% is optional, that'd be £22.50 alone.
My dad used to say about rich people "You can only eat one meal at a time"... I guess he never realised you can eat one, but pay for 20.0 -

Welcome back!
They can only give you that rate because they dropped mine to 0.1% when I wasn't looking. I was outraged.
Anyway, I closed all our accounts in Santander, except one of DW's with £3.39 in it*, and suggested they change their name to 'Banco de Tesco.'
*Despite having all our dosh, except some ISAs, DW is one of these people who do not exist so far as the financial world is concerned. I never completely move her out of any bank in case I want to opt her in again later, so she won't need to go through the rigmarole of proving she's not just a figment of her imagination.0 -
How would you feel if you were the mother of that poor murdered Italian hostage and all your govt was bothered about was not being consulted and looking foolish
BTW, welcome back LJ.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
