They're still faffing around choosing the wrong person.... remember - it's rarely the best person that gets the job, it's other stuff that counts to these people.

Seriously! With looks like that you have no chance.

If the panel had been women you'd be into your second week by now ;)

Question for NP. What is the furthest flight you would take for a long weekend away?

Just catching up with this thread....
    How about this?

I doubt you'd get me in that!

I would struggle with a normal plane!

    Keep chasing.

    Never give up.

Don't take no for an answer, unless they actually say no and then you might as well give up and stop chasing.

But more importantly... any of the NP's agree that Rachel Reeves, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, looks quite nice? :)

    Compared to what ?

Here's a question (well I've written it as a statement but YKWIM). According to our local rag, the racecourse near us has an auction this weekend run by Charles Phillips and Sons of Edinburgh. It's all fancy stuff like TVs, laptops, cameras.

I've only ever taken part in online auctions on ebay. Anybody ever been on one of these real ones? Is the fact it's in a major venue any guarantee it's legit. I've seen auctions organised in pubs before and know that's sure to be a scam; but a racecourse?

Do people do this? Isn't that smacking of desperation?
