    Sorry guys!

Sorry you had a hard time.

At the very least you need to improve security. Either make a habit of password protecting your machine, so after 5 minutes inactivity you need to log back in.

Some of my friends are constantly being fraped by their kids. An open machine and their FB status is changed to something lewd or crude. For some reason the friend then just adds a fraped comment to the status rather than removing it!

Obviously more serious in a business setting, particularly if your business website is being tampered with and I would be inclined to follow disciplinary proceedings.

*fraped= facebook raped = posting a new status on facebook that is then visible to facerook friends on their wall(=front page).

This is a bit more serious than that, especially relating to allegations of corruption and my position, both professionally and in the community. I will state now that I’ve handed my expenses in to the relevant body for inspection, and will publish at a later date. This is completely voluntary, and I have not been asked to do so.

I am aware that it’s come from noone on our patch, however what I’m starting to dislike about the basis of MSE is the cross-referencing to everything. I can be (and have been) found on various websites, but I helped the person, get over it!

The fact that I call my daughter by one name and OH by another is nothing to do with anyone else, which is one of the reasons I’m so annoyed. They’re effectively different (Georgian) versions of the same name. Mari going to Mariam is one thing, but Keti, Kati, Kate, Katya, Ketevan, Katuna and Ekaterina (The Russianised version of the same name, which is her legal name) mean the same thing, as is the same with Liza, Lizi, Elizaveta (Again a Russianised version, this is her legal name) etc etc etc.

Sorry for going off on one, I feel a right idiot :o

So you were good enough but someone else was better but isn't giving them a quick answer?

I'm still waiting for my first smutty PM or SMS :(

The auction thing has been all over the metro as well so I guess they are hoping there will be enough green bidders for them to get more than they would on ebay.

They offered me a 4 month contract extension today - I suspect they have never seen anyone so glum on being offered a contract extension, I was really looking forward to finishing at the end of the month.

still no feedback from my interview on monday. i chased for an update on wed afternoon, and no response to that either. dunno what to do next, just leave it i suppose!
    I think....

I normally am nice, but not when others decide to seriously overstep the mark!

Be careful what you wish for. 11 years ago I grudgingly took up a 3 month contract at £1000/week.... I was then offered a 3 month contract on the next (and final) stage. Begrudged every minute of that 6 months, contract ended, headed home, bought a sun lounger, sat in the garden over the weekend .... and then the market promptly crashed and I've never got back into that type of work ever again.

    You could always say no.

As you need to log in to get to this part of the forum it apparently doesn't show in google.
