    Happy Birthday Wheezy!

Re pancakes - made loads of them last night although I only managed to eat 3 (smallish ones). My appetite hasn't been right since the procedure on Saturday, some good news from that, no nasties seen in that particular part of my internal anatomy, now just for the CT scan to check adjacent areas.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

That IS good news. When are scan results due back?

Wheezy, you sesceibed yourself some where As old or aging. 45 doesn't seem terribly old to me. In the least. Tbh, i had presumed from that you were older with a very spry elderly mother who visited!

So, there I was in the shop .... and in my mind for tea I was having: giant yorkshire pudding, two lovely fried sausages, piles of mash, several fresh veggies - and all topped off with lashings of gravy.

Then reality kicked in and instead I am having mash, veggies and gravy.

I couldn't face making up the batter for one giant yorkshire and heating the oven up/waiting and running it for about an hour just to produce one. Nor could I face heating up the oven for 20 minutes to chuck a frozen one in for 5 minutes. As for the sausages, I didn't want to smell of sausages for a week (think: sitting/sleeping on a sofa in the kitchen). As for the veg - a reduced prepared pack of 3 mixed veg..... as the alternative was to get a whole cauli, then have to eat the rest of that in the week - and buy enough veggies to match the size of the cauli, then cut it all up .....

I'd like to cook properly, it's just not really enticing or practical.

Tea will instead be served, onto a plate, in 20 minutes flat, with the minimum of effort, mess, clearing up, cooking and smell worries.

Cost is about 60p, as the 3 spuds I've used were freebies left over from Xmas that were sprouting and had to be used up.
