How much household paperwork do NP have? When we first set up home I had one little A4 folder, I know seem to have a cupboard full.

much less than i used to. having bank statements, utility bills etc on line only is pretty helpful!

i have got one banker's box full of stuff. most of it is personal tax stuff. everything else gets ruthlessly binned.

i take a risk based approach to post - if it looks like rubbish i will tear it in half and throw it straight in the bin without reading it!

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I have a folder of tax stuff going back 6 years, then a folder of utility bills and credit cards etc going back 1 year, then another folder of insurance - house and car- plus car records, then another folder of receipts, then a folder of house buying stuff, from when we bought including the house history going back to 1937. Then there is a folder of endowment policies, & investments etc Then a folder for each of the kids with their important papers.

Then there are drawers of leads and disks and extension leads and chargers and cameras and SIM cards. Then phone directories, spare paper and stationary.....

Then some really well organised work stuff, 6 current folders plus historical ones going back to 2001!

If any of the NP know anything about Black & Decker hammer drills, can I refer you to my question on the DIY board, please?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

You normally twist the support handle anti-clockwise to loosen the handle which should also loosen the depth stop too.
