But you don't see lydias dog on your screen on your screen. Its funny.
Atm i like pictures of things on screens i think. I emailed dh a picture of mauve squeaker watching earth flight, and we found that hilarious.:o0 -
Looking again at your office, if it were mine those files with gaps on the shelf woul dhave topppled over. If not by some inexlicable force of nature the cats would have seen to it.0

You normally twist the support handle anti-clockwise to loosen the handle which should also loosen the depth stop too.
Thank you. We've got it working now.lostinrates wrote: »Hey look at lydia's dog on the screen!

Awww! Made my day.
(His name was Ben, BTW. We had him from July 1999 (rescue, aged approx 5) until January 2008 (tumour under his tongue making it impossible for him to lap water to drink). He had the loveliest nature, and I still miss him.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I have an overflowing 2 drawer, another 2 drawer with older staff and manuals and then a rather large pile as the main 2-drawer can't take any more stuff.
But there is a plan - I got from free cycle a bespoke built in desk and cupboard unit, top quality and about 13 feet of desk, over-desk shelves and filing and display unit. Alas it was assembled originally by the supplying company rather than being flat pack with instructions and putting it together without instructions or even a proper plan is rather daunting...
...plus of course because I left the desk bit flat to get some impression of what it ill look like assembled, DW has started to put things on top of it, I do love her dearly but we 'disagree' over whether every flat surface is automatically a depository for staff and whether things are tidy unless they are put away rather than just piled up in a corner or next to a on top of a cupboard.I think....0 -

It's so I can remove any file without disturbing the rest. Yes a cat could knock them down but they are sturdy enough to stand however full they are.
The sad thing is, I actually planned this office/study and after 4-5 years I'm still very happy with it for what it does...
Might not suit everyone or even anyone but it's far better than how it was before it was refurbished.
I'm sure you could find all sorts in some of those pictures if you look hard enough0 -

I didn't realise you didn't still have him.
Hope you didn't mind the (lottery) photoshop picture of him

My study has a wierd layout. There is a window alcove that protrudes at 45 degrees to the walls that the desk sits in. Another corner has a fireplace at 45 degrees that intrudes into the room, so it is difficult to furnish.
I'm dejunking the odd assortment of cupboards and the colour scheme is black and white: White walls, black window blinds, black glass desk and hopefully a black storage cabinet.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
