Mine is not in a cup though.

happy for it to be in a mug instead.

i would take a bowl, but prefer something with a handle on it (but not a gravy boat as they are difficult to drink out of).

as a vessel of last resort, a pewter tankard would be acceptable.

Now I'm going to do a PN:

I'm outdoors in my shirtsleeves this morning. :D

Did I hear something about snow?

after yesterday when i nearly died of hypothermia standing around on the train platform in the morning, i cracked out my gloves, hat, stupid snood thing, and put a jumper on underneath my coat. ready to battle the elements, i walked outside and realised that it wasn't particularly cold at all, and i looked like a right idiot. i didn't have time to go and take it all off though as i would have missed the train.

Its weird here. Everything is frozen, but not too cold. The first trough is finally empty thoguh, just ice, so i have broken up the ice and removed it, and with it came the dirt from the trough....a job done nicely, the critters now have access to the front yard and another two troughs, And i have one more in reserve for total emergengy.

This is the driest cold spell we've ever had, the temperature was -2 this morning but the cars weren't even iced over!

You've done well, chewie, following up on the Daily Express headline yesterday.
I hope you're wearing your snowshoes also, because:

i've got a pair of tennis rackets ready to strap to my feet so i get get out and about and buy a house, as 8 inches of frozen snow is bound to cause house prices to quadruple in the short term.
