We have a fantastic private dentist and wouldn't change for anything. He's just fitted an implant for DH and you can't tell it's not a real tooth. Excellent. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Got a good NHS dentist and and we still use him even though we moved house years ago
TBH once I get a dentist I trust, I stick with them and I'll travel miles to see them. I know plenty of people who can't seem to get on an NHS dentist's list, so I just hope this guy keeps going!
And the snow's building up outside. I'll have to walk the dog in this snow tomorrow.:(There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

..... to use as a 2nd screen for my AV receiver as didn't want screen burn on the main plasma from the constant logo's you get when listening to the audio player or watching BBC news all day. Have it mounted in a corner of the room and now only use big TV for watching movies or shows in the evenings.
Works well, seems good quality, and cheap enough.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Hardly any snow here so far .Some sleet earlier this evening. Went to the Theatre tonight in Chichester, (followed by a kebab eaten in the car - for the kebab officianado's )and then drove home as sleet turned to snow. Light dusting is all we have here at home.0

I would have, except I didn't understand the NHS Dentist finder because dentists accept some sorts of people - and in the lists of ticks/crosses there's a whole bunch of stuff that I don't even understand.... so I wouldn't know if they'd accept me or not. e.g. one of the dentists is listed as "currently accepting NHS" but one of the ticks says "fee paying adults". Now, if you're a fee paying adult, what does that mean? And other stuff I know nothing about
well on the NHS, you get everything free (i think, or if not free for a low fixed charge per visit or something like that) if you are under 18, if you are in full time education, or if you are on benefits (not sure exactly who on benefits qualifies, but some people do). pensioners probably get it free as well.
if you don't fall into these categories then you still have to pay for dental stuff on the NHS, it's just quite a bit cheaper.
usually the same dentist will offer private and NHS.
so you go in and have a check up on the NHS, and that will cost you say £30.
then the dentist will say "you need a filling" and produce a price list and ask you if you want it done NHS or private.
if you have the filling done NHS it will cost, say £70, but they will fill it with compacted sawdust.
if you have the filling done private it will cost £200 but they will do it properly.
so basically NHS dentistry is just cheaper than private but you still have to pay for it. the advantage of it is that you can get the things which make no difference cheaper (i.e. check-up, teeth cleaned and polished, x-rays).0 -
at least 2 inches of snow here now and still coming down, although not as fast.
don't think it will be enough to stop the trains on monday.0
