I think i have to find a dentist next week. Have flossed, interdental brushed and brushed teeth repeatedly this evening, and think i have a cavity.
. I have terrible, terrible teeth, they are really weak and i get loads of cavities. It makes me feel ashamed. They look ok. My dad and sister have perfect teeth, my mothers are almost perfect, pretty impressive at her age.

Private of course as there's no such thing as an NHS dentist.0 -

I don't mind dentists. Obviously nobody likes having dental work, but i am quite stoic about it all, don't get scared or anything, don't mind needles even though they hurt and while i don't like drills i recognise their necessity if you have rubbish teeth. I just wish i had better teeth.0 -

There is. I've had one since October. I'm not happy with what he did though.
I'm considering going back to the Polish blonde in Crediton. She costs, but I think she's worth it.....and so am I.0 -
OK, so there are a few NHS dentists in a few areas of the country, if you're lucky enough to live near one and discover them
I've been private for about 15 years as I couldn't find one wherever I moved to.0 -
I keep meaning to book an appt withbthe hygenist before seeing the dentist next time, so i can catch them out when they say I need to see the hygenist...
I did thT once before and never had a better dentist aftwr tha first appt. my last dentist as good too. Though all dentists want me to have veneers on my front teeth..one is very chippped l..but repaired, but probably has a dead root or nerve or whatever....but it still works, loks ok for the time being. I think i would rather have an implant. They said veneers have a life of a anout ten years, well...its five years or so since they forst tried to get me to get one, so mse to have delayed so far as my own tooth is ok.0 -

do you have any data regarding distance (on a round trip basis) to your closest NHS dentist?0 -
Loads of NHS dentists here for some reason but almost anything that needs doing they generally tell you it isn't available under nhs or that the private alternative is superior/will last longer.
Now snowing here but not much so far.I think....0
