Can you explain why? I call men blokes and if a woman to all intents and purposes is male why would they be offended to be called a bloke?Person_one wrote: »Its offensive to call transwomen 'blokes' whether they hear about it or not..................

Gender is about so much more than biological sex, please do some googling!
I think Errata thought that it was female to male that was being called blokes.

I think it is unprofessional to mention it on your CV and don't think it needs to be mentioned in an interview either. Isn't it like someone saying they are gay on their CV and then mentioning it again in the interview?!0

Don't worry Errata. I'm surprised people jumped on you - most people will spend their entire lives having never met a trans person, why would they be expected to know the terms!
For info:
transwoman - born male now female
transman - born female now male
cis - non-transgendered person
gender queer - can be used for someone who is not identifying as male or female
use the pronoun of the 'aquired' gender i.e. she for someone who is now femaleSave £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0
