    Tell her to try the third sector, voluntary/community groups, they tend to be more tolerant of anyone who is different for whatever reason.
    She will only have to tell them if she gets offerred a job and her previous refereers knew her as Sid or whatever. Anyway, if she gets to this stage and they want her it will be o.k because they will most likley know anyway as you tend to be able to tell.

    all the information about terminology is readily available on the internet. This one does not think people are important enough to bother learning the right words. I would leave him to it.

    perhaps she could look at getting some volunteer work get her self some experience but also some confidence being herself round people
    tell her to watch my transgendered summer , this program was/is really useful
