Maybe you looked like you were having such a lovely sleep and probably much needed that he thought he would leave you !
At least the sun is shining and you can spend some time with your lovely boys Rain is forecast here for tomorrrow ! Yuk !
It seems, when I said to Mr F on Friday night I'll see how I feel in the morning he actually didn't hear me!! :rotfl: Anyway, the whole thing was over and done with by 3 o'clock so maybe it was a good thing I didn't go. Instead I did the grocery shopping and actually came home with some money!!
We're heading off shortly to go and buy a guitar for DS2's birthday, in a couple of weeks. That'll be two electric guitars and amps in the house. Maybe one day the boys will start a band, become rich and look after me in Mr F in our old age. :rotfl: :roftl:
Later I have to make some biscuits for the boys school lunches and decide what we're having for dinner.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

The guitar and amp package has now been bought and paid for in cash.
:D I'm happy and DS2 is happy. Although he can't have it until his birthday in a couple of weeks. We also bought him a guitar strap to go with it (there is one in the package but they're a bit rubbish) and a few picks to keep him going. I should add that my dad has paid for the most of this as his present to DS2 so that's great. We've just topped it up. Thanks dad.
I've also ordered him a Nirvana hoodie from Ebay (UK) which should arrive in time for his birthday. He got to choose it and was very wise and chose one that will probably be a little bit too big at the moment but will give him room to grow into.
His final present is a pair of jeans. They were on offer (1 pair for $50 or 2 for $79). He decided he wanted to pay the extra £29 and get two. He's actually very good with his money, unlike his brother. I'm very pleased with myself as we have managed to pay for his birthday presents with cash and not the usual cc.
Anyway, I'm away now to bake some cookies for school lunches.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

Me again... made the cookies for school lunches but also made some hm pumpkin soup and hm tomato soup (using the last of our homegrown toms). I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. Definitely know what to do with any future tomatoes we grow. :rotfl: Mr F made a loaf of hm bread (in the breadmaker) which should go well with the soup.
I also made some hm chicken tenders for dinner and have enough leftover for 2 people so these will go in the freezer for another night.
I'm now enjoying a bottle of beer while crocheting. Just making some small flowers at the moment and haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do with them yet... maybe a scarf when I have enough of them.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

What a dreary day it's been here in Hamilton. Non-stop rain and strong winds (although the wind seems to have died down a little).
Well Mr F and I did a small job together this morning. It's quite nice having him around although as he doesn't work with me often I feel like I have a trainee with me as I have to tell him what to do.
My to do list for today was quite long.- [STRIKE]Do small job[/STRIKE]. Done. Took about 2.5 hours.
- [STRIKE]Put washing in and hang on airer. [/STRIKE] Done.
- [STRIKE]Ring Dr re form that needs filling in for DS1.[/STRIKE] Done.
- [STRIKE]Make a Dr's appointment for Mr F for his repeat prescription. [/STRIKE]Done. They are going to complete above form for DS2 at the same time.
- [STRIKE]Ring Inland Revenue.[/STRIKE] Done and sorted.
- [STRIKE]Go online and book appointments for DS2 parent teacher interviews.[/STRIKE] Done. Managed to get all the appointments with a 10 minute gap.
- [STRIKE]Make appointment for DS2 to have hair cut. [/STRIKE]Done but waiting for confirmation of exact time.
- [STRIKE]Ring client re booking a new job in for them. [/STRIKE]Done and now have another job booked in for this Friday with a new client. I did a trial for them at the end of last year and they were very happy.
- [STRIKE]Email another client for order number for two recent jobs.[/STRIKE]Done. Awaiting order numbers to come through so I can invoice. [/STRIKE]
Mr F is making toad in the hole for dinner. It's one of those kind of days. Oops, he just made the smoke alarm go off. :rotfl: :rotfl:Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

I run my own business cleaning new build properties for various building firms. Here in NZ people buy a plot of land and build a house (rather than a housing company buying land and building identical houses) so you don't often find two houses next to each that are the same.
Between writing this and my earlier emails I managed to get another booking for this week. So that's a big house to clean tomorrow/Wednesday, two smallish houses on Thursday and another one on Friday. Mr F must be wondering what's hit him. He's supposed to be on leave but said he would help me in the business. When he offered we only had a couple of jobs booked in for each week. :rotfl: :rotfl:Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

That's interesting. A real niche..and fits nicely into the NZ real estate market! I found it intriguing how many were bungalows and had metal roofs...that was one of the things i remember. Quite frontier stuff where there is lots of land and no need to rely on mass speculation, as you say.
How's Hamilton? Warm ? Nice day here. The panels did quite nicely. Must send in another meter reading.

Bizarely we lived in a bungalow in Scotland but live in a two storey house (with a metal roof) here. :rotfl: It's warm, wet and windy in Hamilton. Good news on your panels Would love some solar panels but will have to wait until funds allow it.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

Can this week get any busier?? We started out with 2 jobs for the week and suddenly we're up to 6 and 1 of the original 2 has been moved!!
Still all this working means I had a NSD. My second one of the week. :j
Most of my wool order arrived this morning and I love it and the colours I've chosen. Now just need to work out what to make with it.The courier really wanted to make sure we answered the door he knocked really loudly and then rang the door bell a couple of times. I guess with the curtains shut he thought we were all still in bed.
DS2 wasn't feeling very well today and so we let him stay home. He had a sore throat and a headache, one of those that gives you a sharp pain when you move too quickly. He seems to be much better tonight so school for him tomorrow.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All
