    Morning!

Off to work soon, dropping DS2 off at the barbers on the way as his hair resembles a hedge at the moment!

Snow starting to melt here so hopefully journey to work will be ok.

    Hope the meet goes well!

shez- same thing happened to my car once, broken locks, stolen radio and cds, not worth claiming on the insurance at the time:mad: makes you so angry that they dare touch your car doesn't it!

Have a lovely weekend folks, MATH hope the pob goes well for your DD!

    Take care xxxx
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Hello all, I've been up ages trying to do all the cleaning in one morning so I can enjoy half term. Trouble is as I haven't had time to do proper cleaning since Christmas it's [STRIKE]might[/STRIKE]going to take more than a morning:mad:

Poor shez- all that hasstle you'll have!

Parsnip soup for lunch (but I have to dig them up first)
Breast of lamb and leek casserole cooked in pressure cooker for tea (leeks from garden)

Something using last summers frozen fruit for pud because I need the space in the freezer but the weather suggests a nice treacle sponge instead:rolleyes:

Must get on! Bye for now
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me

Angelselondon - the BG's seem to do a round-up of long signatures every now and again. I got told off about the one I used to have. (BTW I really hope you don't mind me pointing it out, but you've got "Silver" spelt wrong in your sig - it was spelt wrong in your longer one too - thought you might want the chance to fix it ;) unless it's intentional!)

Thanks soooo much for sorting out the name badges - will you be there at the start?

Morning all, I wish I was coming to the meet :(

(((((((((((((((((((((Shez))))))))))))))))) I hope a ferret runs up their trousers and bites them on the gon*ds!!

DD is showing signs of recovery YYYYYYYYYYYYYay. She's eaten two bowls of breakfast this morning. It did help that I treated her to a pack of those mini boxes (on offer at half price) so she was able to choose what she wanted :D At the moment I don't care what she eats or when, she has so much weight to put back on. If I can keep her eating through the weekend she may even have enough energy to go to school on Monday!
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    Morning all.

    (((Shez)))

Hope the meet goes well for those going along. I wish I could have joined you - maybe next time.

Well, the shopping's done and I've just put the wm and dw on hot washes to give them a good clean (they were both honking a bit). I'm going down to Aviemore with the dogs to give them a walk in the snow - although it was trying to snow here earlier on. The forecast is for us to get some later although probably not as much as Twink/Kyle have got.

Anyway after the walk I'm going to do cooking for next weeks meals and make some more bread. Then its feet up/glass of wine/film.

    Might pop in later.

The idea is that rather than place the amount you save, you caculate the percentage on your disposable income for the year.

I created a spreadsheet that caculates the percentage.

if you want a copy pm me your email address.

Please join our thread, they are as nice as everyone on here at OS and are very motivating.

We also post moneysaving ideas on the thread too.

    Enjoy

I am hoping to get there for 4pm, which I believe is the start.

I can never see what goes on with the sig thing, mind you 25% is a sliver of what I intend to save over the course of the year.

Morning All - Hope we are well

The snow has stopped, and its raining, Like dlb said earlier, turning it to slush now

Played Music Buzz quiz till after 1.00am. So Im a little tired today!

Shez - little b4uggers! Its not a nice feeling to find the car stolen. I was out shopping once with my DS when he was 18months old. I was literally gone for 35mins. That car was immobilsed & alarmed! Still doesn't stop them!
Hoep you hear some news soon ref the where abouts

All of you have a safe journey going to the meet later, have a nice time, and take lots of pics to post on here for us who cant make it!

    Anyway, take care for now
    Be back later

Well I hope you all have fun this evening, don't forget to tell us all about it... and photos too! I have my etching course this afternoon which I'm quite excited about. OH in Norway till tomorrow so its just me and the cat, I don't think I can give her back in 10 days! I baked my first batch of hot cross buns last night and they were scrummy, I'll never have to buy shop bought ones again! I have a slight adiction to them so I'm waiting for my waistline to expand!

(I hope I didn't offened anyone yesterday, I would never tell anyone what to do)

thanks guys for all the hugs and had to laugh at blairweech & moggins response!:rotfl:

Have reported to police, now got to wait up to 4hrs for finger printers to arrive!
Phoned insurance company, they are all busy and someone will call back soon (must have done a job lot last nite then!)

Hope to make the meet - just depends on the wait for police & window repairers & then whoever will take the car for repairs - so have to see how it goes.

So while I wait I shall get on with the curried parsnip soup & gammon joint and generally keep separating the kids from killing each other (usual day really:rolleyes: )
