Morning All
damp & miserable here in Surrey, so that is probably what central London is going to be like for our meet later. Was really really looking forward to it, then yesterday the washing machine shredded the top I planned to wear today & then I had a huge row with hubby (who slept on the sofa & is currently washing the car in the rain to avoid me) so this has rather taken the bloom off today for me. Hubby will get over it but the washign machine is really winding me up, it keeps shredding my & Spuds stuff, never hubbys, and always the good stuff! Grrrrrrr:mad:
Anyway, this morning is bake a sultana cake & visit neighbour with it, then this afternoon is off to London (hopefully not topless.....I'm sure I'll find something else to wear!). Got chicken casserol out of the freezer for Hubby & Spuds dinners.
See some of you later, have a good day to those not comming:TPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -

Ageandjo - yes, we are off to watch Plymouth play Sunderland this afternoon, DSs footie match has been cancelled this morning (due to rain, still not a flake of snow round here, much to my 2s disgust) so we can have a lazy morning!!!
Well, as i just said, a lazy morning, then taking DD to my friends (the one who is emigrating to Oz in just over a week) whilst DS and i go to the football - its nice to spend some time with just DS, and DD actually has a party tomorrow so having a proper mummy and son weekend, which ive been looking forward to, as i dont get to spend much time with just me and DS.
Nothing else planned for today, house is still tidy after my flyladying last week and as we are out, it should stay that way!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely time at the meet.

Just been catching up with yesterday's thread.
Crazychick - no need for apologies. You helped in a healthy debate about food. Several of us are now better informed to make choices about food, which can't be a bad thing.
Our choir master (whos' a music teacher in real life) taught one of the Kaiser Chiefs. That makes me practically related, doesn't it? I have *I predict a riot* on my MP3, and often sing it at full belt, especially when DS isn't tidying his room.

shez that is awful, you'd think they had something better to do with their time wouldn't you?!
yesterday I had a quick read through the flylady thread and it made me want to do some housework! (I can't join in as only have internet access at work!) so when I got home at 7pm last night, I tidied, hoovered and washed, the living room carpet, (it was a MESS!)my bedroom, kids bedroom, washed up-and it only took me until 9:30 but then I felt I had done plenty! lol:o
I have put some jeans on that I bought the other day for work,(we canwear casual clothes on a wknd) and when I tried them on they were great but now they are falling down and when I pull them up they are too short!:o
why does that always happen?!
well I have a busy day today I have to leave work on my dinner break to take OH to work then take kids to my dads (usual babysitter has gone away), then get everyones dinner at work!
hopefully when I go back to my dads to pick kids up he'll make me some tea!:o:rotfl:
have a good day everyone.
