3 Talk and Text 700 Termination

I'm on the last month of VTT700 and was offered this with 15 months half price line rental immediately credited to my account and with either a K800 or a W850. I found a better offer on the Three website with quidco and free memory card and bluetooth headset so I ordered that instead and called Three to cancel.

When I called Three to cancel on the same day, they offered me T&T200 for 11 months free line rental with a 6280 which I ended up taking cause it works out at £20 for the whole year....with a free phone!

Just been checking on the 3 website, and they've certainly changed all the tariffs round !! If this is anything to go by, they won't offer any more 100+100 tariffs as retention deals as they don't appear to exist any more

Panic not - it wasn't listed before (apart from under Discontinued, where it is still listed?)

Anon - yes, I found it under discontinued tariffs section. my other 3 ctt is on that, got it last Nov for cost of C.£6 for the year with no handset. Was hoping for the same again this time, but so far no joy....

What exactly does having £345 crefit mean?

boqq - 3 put a credit of £xxx on your bill, so the monthly charges basically erode the credit balance until you are in the last month or two of the contract, where you end up paying the balance, e.g. bill credit of £220 at start of year, monthly cost £20. In 11 months you use up 11x£20=£220, i.e. all the credit, leaving £20 to pay in month 12, assuming you don't use any call costs or services over your monthly allowances.

I see so u only end up paying the £20. I wrote to them asking for a disconnection in April (end of contract) and PAC code but I did not get such a good offer

Someone on another thread today was reporting getting VTT600, £336 credit and final month payment of £24. Seems a big leap since the T&T200 retention I received last month ...! I suppose there is no going back now as stuck with another 12 month contract... Ah well, could get a new contract if necessary.

I phoned 3 to convert my two Video & Talk & Text 1100 phones to PAYG.

I was offered 200min + 100txt
free for 9 mths
mth 10=£10
11=£25
12=£25

so £60 for the year (no phone included) - a pretty rubbish deal

Also offered 900mins at £25/mth

I'll post if they offer something better when my 30 days run out

well for my N73 i got 100texts & 100mins & x-series gold
for £60 for 12 months !

3 might be !!!! ( many problems with my other contract ) but i couldnt leave @ that price !
