Yep, got my email around 12.30, went straight on to apply, the website messed me around for 2 hours and then the deal is closed.
What a disgraceful way to treat new customers! And not just any old customers, but customers investing thousands of pounds.
Very tempted to get Martin on the case! :money:0 -
Yes but my grievance was that it was still showing the offer at 15:20 when I started the application process.mancitychick wrote: »It now states on their website that the offer has been withdrawn as of 3pm today.

Terms and conditions of offer before they pulled it, if anyone needs to reffer back to it as no longer on website

That balance may include the transfer of an existing Cash ISA from another Cash ISA provider. For the avoidance of doubt, to qualify for the free Kindle offer, your Selftrade Cash ISA must, as at 31 January 2012, retain at least £5,000 of any sums deposited before that date.
The free Kindle is the 6”, wi-fi version capable of storing up to 1,400 books or 2GB internal (approximately 1.25GB available for user content). Learn more.
Your Kindle will be despatched to the customer address registered with us as soon as possible from 1 February 2012, or from the date your deposit is cleared, whichever is the later: in the event it has not been received by 17 February 2012 please notify us.
Each Kindle is covered by the manufacturer’s standard guarantee: Selftrade can not accept responsibility for any fault, damage of failure or for the loss of any content, but will arrange a replacement when returned to us within 7 days of receipt: thereafter you should contact the manufacturer directly.

PS - I never recieved any emails to confirm account open, but was able to log in with PIN and account number immediately after and deposit the £5k by Debit card and immediately showed as deposited. Can't get back in to check it further till code comes through in post - is this what everyone else did?0

The offer closed while I was opening the account and making a debit. I called and they checked the timings and said they would make sure I was on the list to get the Kindle.
Has anyone asked when the Kindle should be received?0 -
I don't blame them, millions get the MSE email, and they probably couldn't cope with demand, this FREQUENTLY happens after the MSE email has gone out with different offers.Top Cash Back: £882

You can skip that step until you receive the code.stphnstevey wrote: »PS - I never recieved any emails to confirm account open, but was able to log in with PIN and account number immediately after and deposit the £5k by Debit card and immediately showed as deposited.
