The link is def on job vacancy page just checked. Each comp has to have it's own start middle and end.

Just seen it on the front page of the DWP jobs site as well.

I won't give up hope entirely yet: reading my application through, I have (loosely) adhered to what they were looking for...."loosely" being the operative word.

To those who have had their status changed to "on hold" did you all score above 80% percentile? or were your scores actually lower?

Sounds like these guys may get interviews then.

Yes did get over 80% - rang help desk and apparently Hold means have got past the on line test and they are considering the competencies. Warwickshire are obviously quicker than Leicestershire.

Is all this stuff about the competencies all just common sense? It's like selling yourself to the employer and really if you can't do that then how do you expect to work in a jobcentre setting to help others into work?? I don't know what my results are yet still under review and to be honest if I don't get to the next stage it's my own fault!

    So helpfull :T

I have 60% percentile and my application has changed to 'on hold' so there is still hope! I have two applications on hold for different districts.

Well thats encouraging. My status hasnt changed on either of my two districts. Just want to hear something from them even if its a thanks but no thanks. My scores werent fantastic like some posted on here.

Just slightly concerned that a previous post stated that their competency statements had been marked in the North East already. My wife scored over 80% and hers hasnt changed either.
  • Hi
New to the forum so please be gentle ;)
Has anyone applied to Northumbria/Tyne & Wear District with a score percentile of between 60 & 80% and progressed any further than 'Test Completed'?
My nerves are shot to bits with all the waiting and no progress....
  • I can appreciate STAR being used at the interview stage, but with a 200 word limit and the competency framework having 10-20 points http://www.dwp.gov.uk/docs/customer-insight-level-2.pdf in each heading. There's no serious way you could apply STAR and all that to 200 words. That'll be my excuse for when I fail :)

Essex has started it seems. My status says Situation Test Complete still but when going to into the feedback, Sift scores are there!
