If you have a provisional offer then I pressume you are no longer on the reserve list. I think that everyone getting offers for B&S at the moment scored the same as us. I am really happy people are getting offers but still can't get my head around the reasoning behind doing my checks and telling me I'm 'good to go' but not offering me anything!
I was beginning to think that it's precisely because I have done the job before that I scored poorly [my sift scores were far higher than my interview scores but I used exactly the same competencies]. I was even acting HEO at one point! I think DWP want 'new' recruits.

My sift scores were far higher than my interview scores, again using the same competencies. Although I applied for BC, BS & SS, I was interview for the BS vacancies. I got the impression they marked quite strictly compared to other areas. I'll post you a message once I've spoken to them

Just wondering if anyone who has started their position has applied for a season ticket loan. I have a costly commute and I need to get one ASAP but I'm told by shared services I'm not on the system yet and so can't apply. Just wondering if anyone else has had a season ticket loan experience!?

Reximus, I've been told that you need to be working there for 2 months before you can apply. My 2 months is up on 11th August so will be putting my application in then (I already put one in but it got rejected as I'd only be there a month or so).

I spoke to the recruitment line today. Apparently all my checks are complete and I'm now waiting for a phone call from the recruitment coordinator at Birmingham/Solihull! Fingers crossed I'll get the call soon, it's driving me crazy playing this waiting game!

At least you know that you are due a call. I'm sure they won't keep you much longer.

Great News, my CRB came yesterday( Wed 18) and today (Thurs 19) I was offered a position. I asked for any part time working patterns and was given a four day week. Yippee:T

I could have started on August 20th but have opted for 10th Sept. I cannot believe the long wait is finally over.

The lady said that most of the positions have now gone and they are definitely at the tail end of their recruitment.

I am so happy. Good luck to all those still waiting and I hope you hear something soon.
