Another question, because I'm so damn bored.
Has anyone heard back from essr.northeast@dwp.gsi.gov.uk
    regarding position on reserve list

DWP emailed me this morning to say that I am 65th on the reserve list for Black Country! I don't know what this is out of or what it goes up to.
Still trying to find out position for B'ham and Staffs/Shrops.
My 'home' district is B'ham so hopefully I am higher up the list there.;)
  • Well another day goes by, and nothing from Thames Valley yet, and I know they are ready to be posted.

Maybe just a tally. What areas as of this moment, have not been posted, it would be interesting. I have not seen anything for Essex, Devon and Cornwall or Worc/Here/etc.

    Any others????

I am Devon and Cornwall got my offer on Saturday :)

Oh, and I found out that B&S put everybody who scored 20 or over at interview on the reserve list [not sure of the cut off point for offers]. They really were tough markers!

    Hi

I think 65th is quite good baring in mind hundreds are probably on reserve list.

    What score did you get?
  • If people keep calling the recruitment line and sending emails then it's just going to hold up the whole process. Those of us who have been made offers will have to wait even longer which will mean a longer wait for the people constantly emailing and calling anyway.

Does it really matter where you are on the reserve list? Presumably if you don't have a job you won't pin all your hopes on getting a call, you'll continue to look for work. If you do have a job you'll carry on doing it and if you really hate it then you can carry on searching.

Just have some patience and let people do their job! I'm currently waiting for a phone call from them but I suspect the person who should be calling me is too busy answering pointless questions!

I think it's perfectly normal to want to know what position you are on a list. Maybe if you were on it, you'd understand. Calling it a "pointless question" is quite insulting really.

It won't change anything - you'll have no idea how long it will be. And until they can contact those on the merit list to place them then they won't know how many positions they still need to fill!

And of course Markymark the call that you are expecting is far more important than anyone elses pointless enquiry:D

It probably doesn't matter to you now you have an offer (getting offered on 31 points was pretty lucky if you ask me) especially as a lot more of us on here had scored more than you but alas we don't all live in Derby!!!!!
If we did I'm afraid we would be in & you would be on the phone, clogging up the recruitment line with your pointless questions!!! Not forgetting you are the guy who initially fed porkies about your interview score..,,,,claiming he scored 38????
