Ha, yes councilling would be a definate advantage. But I really do not know why we are panicing, it is not like this is a life changing opportunity or some benefit that will help us move ahead with our life !?!

I am glued to this computer, it is not a good thing, but I can not give it up !!

It's probably too early to ask this question, but I will anyway.
Anyone from the reserve list been offered a position yet?

It has been a few days, but I think around Wednesday, a lad (or ladette) from Glasgow/Scotland recieved a reserve list email in the morning and then a provisional offer in the afternoon. So it is out there by all accounts. Please let it be out there !!!!!!!!

I have although I think I've been incredibly lucky. I got on the reserve list last Thursday and then on Friday I got confirmation that I'd got a provisional offer. At first I thought the reserve list offer was maybe an error as it does seem an incredibly quick change however, the email that I got offering me the provisional post started with, "Following your recent success at Interview we offered you a place on our waiting list. We are now delighted to be able to offer you a provisional offer for the above post".
I don't know why the change happened but I'm really grateful that it did!

Hi gk, if you don't mind me asking, which region was it and what was your score?

Hi gk, if you don't mind me asking, which region was it and what was your score?

It was for South East/East Scotland. I don't want to broadcast my score on here as some people have scored higher but it probably differs by region. If I say what I got then people might start getting their hopes up that a higher score will definitely secure the offer and I don't want to be yet another factor in people's stress levels!

    I'll pm you it...
  • Hi... I am also on the reserve list for B and S. Have been here before though a few years back when i was waiting for an AO position. I think its probably best, for me anyway, to just TRY to put it to the back of my head now though or at best for the next couple of weeks. Given that successful applicants have been given 5 days to accept/decline an offer and waiting for crbs and references come back.

Another question, because I'm so damn bored.
Has anyone heard back from essr.northeast@dwp.gsi.gov.uk
    regarding position on reserve list
  • Well another day goes by, and nothing from Thames Valley yet, and I know they are ready to be posted.

Maybe just a tally. What areas as of this moment, have not been posted, it would be interesting. I have not seen anything for Essex, Devon and Cornwall or Worc/Here/etc.

    Any others????

I have had my result and been offered a post for Worcs/Hereford.

I have heard zip poker, but I can understand that, about 30000 people wanting to know the same thing. I sent anouther one this morning with a simple question of when will all other regions be posted. Hopefully a little reply will be at hand soo so I can let people know.

I am trying to be graceful, but to be fair to myself, the wait is getting to me.
