Hi has anyone been offered a job in the northwest? I have been reading all of your threads but no mention of northwest. I scored 37/45 in my interview. But had a reserve list e-mail but it looks like no one from the northwest has been offered a post.
Any help would be appricated.
Thanks0 -
So, naturally, I have accepted the offer from the black country
Still haven't heard a jot from B&S though... getting a tad concerned as folks on here seem to have had results from there....
Surely they'd have done them all on the same day?
I would of thought so? Have you phoned the recruitment line just in case?
I, in your position, would just like the peace of mind more then anything.0 -

I was sure that all of the B&S results would have gone out on the same day. Maybe you should ring recruitment line? You should definitely get an offer with your score.
I've got 3 reserves now Jess but can't get an answer re:my position on the list.
Hope you hear something from B&S soon :A0 -
thunderplex wrote: »Something I cant work out is how they allocate to people who have the same points. Say for example they get down to the 34's in Manchester (which is mine!). If there are 10 reserve jobs, and 30 people with 34's who gets it? Does it go off the initial test, the written application scores or good looks?
I believe a few posts back someone said it might go off the most desirable competency.
Like if one person scored an 8 in leadership and another scored 6 then that person with the 8 would be higher up the list.
I know in my job in the banking world (Boo Hiss) does this when we interview.0 -

Cheers. I shall give them a bell tomorrow.
Sure I saw someone on here who'd got an offer of 32 for B&S... so just unsure as to why I'd not heard.
Will let you know0 -

Evening all, any reserve listers from Hants & IOW out there with any updates? My DH on reserve list with 37, he sent email to enquire re position on list but no word so far....
No news either from local JCP who sent a location form for him to complete on Saturday (prior to him receiving reserve list email later in the day).
Consequently, when he got the location form request he was sure a provisional offer was on its way, but no such luck. This process all seems a bit back to front!
Hey ho, all the best to everybody.

That sounds like it makes sense. Cheers.0 -

I can confirm that thunderplex, that is what I have been told by a recruitment manager of a region, it is just a matter of which one is considered the most important, considering it is an EO position I would hazard a guess at Management or Leadership, but also possibly Customer Service.0
