Get the impression our area not going to be in the top 5 districts to post. Fingers crossed for us all x

So it seems that everyone agrees that Birmingham/Solihull were amongst the hardest markers so how is it fair that my interview scores from Birmingham will apply to the Black Country and South Staffs
I wished I'd interviewed in one of those places instead! (All areas applied for are easily accessible for me)

Hi Stay, yes, I think it is time to just ignore the fool. Sorry, I come from a nation who calls a spade a spade (guess which one), and I spent a long time of my life 'detecting' bs for a living.
One things is for sure, I have seen the darker side of human nature, but also the great humanity that most people have, both come natural to the differing people. Trolls do not fit into both, they are in a stasis, living a half life. Pathetic individuals, sitting in a dark room cursing what others have or strive to achieve.
Good luck mate, whether people scored 20 or 45, if you want to work, you deserve to work. I have a feeling that we WILL hear further in the next few days. It may not be what we want to here, but let me tell you, I begrudge no person who gets a position over me, nor do I begrudge any person who tries to be the best they can.
Best wishes to all.0 -

I completely agree, just need to wait and see, we've waited this long it's not really going to make much more difference, I wish you and everyone else every success in the future0 -

Trust me there is no way you would have wanted to interview in Staffs/Shrops - they were beyond tough in their marking!! I actually withdrew my application after receiving laughably low scores - I decided to cut my losses and move on with other avenues. I know from others comments and pm's that I wasn't the only one who had insultingly low scores from the interviewers in the Staffs/Shrops area and I know a couple were considering filing complaints.
I have checked occassionally on this thread to see how things were progressing for everyone and was astounded to see no offers/rejections going out until this past few days - not exactly a stirling example of how to run a recruitment drive IMHO.
Congrats to all those getting offers or the wait list and commiserations to those who have not received an offer - it's been a long wait from interview to this point and to not make it after this amount of time must be gut-wrenching. Interesting how the criteria for an offer differs from district to district - that is such a tough thing to take. It will also be interesting to see just how many jobs there will actually be offered at the end of all this - I suspect a lot less than were actually advertised.0
