Mark, where did you receive the offer from? I've applied for Derby also, but haven't heard anything yet...

Im in the same boat as you mate! Not heard anything from Derbys yet.
I scored 33, so thought I had a snowballs chance in hell (none basically) But, now MarkyMark has said that, its given me some hope! Not to doubt you Mark, but i hope its true! lol

I am confused about MarkyMark, he has said he has been offered a position with a score of 31, yet if you look at his old posts he says he got 7,7,8,8,8 at interview... Something doesn't quite add up lol...

I vaguely remember reading him having a higher score than 31.. But I really couldnt be arsed to look back at his previous posts, which is why I added "I hope its true" at the end of my post lol

Any more Kent peeps here? Seen Jade & Mr Rys recently :) Get the impression our area not going to be in the top 5 districts to post. Fingers crossed for us all x
I'd be really interested in what scores people received in Kent if they are willing to share. I'm still trying to workout if I've got a chance or not.

Morning chaps, Well this has been quite an eventful couple of days..........offers & reserve listings flying out to all corners of the uk :)
Congratulations btw to all the lucky ones. Only snag is because each region is so different with their pass rates it doesn't make life any easier for us lot left waiting to hear .
I've seen few offers made on 31 somewhere & reserve listing at 41!!!!
I'm on 33 still waiting to hear from the South East Wales crew.
If positions could be offered for time & commitment to this thread we'd all be in!!! :D Good luck guys to all still in the race.

Congrats Graham, Have you submitted your location form? I am hoping to get appointment in my town edinburgh, but no surety . Fingers crossed x

Yeah I submitted the form. Even though it wasn't a preferencing exercise I said when I emailed it in that my first choice would be Edinburgh then Musselburgh. Ideally I'd have Leith which is about 100yards from my front door! Having worked in London previously and living in Andover which is about 75 miles out, a 100yard commute to work each day would be amaaazing!! I've listed loads on there though. Said I'd be willing to work as far out as Leven to the North (St Andrew's would just be crazy although I'd take it if they offered) and somewhere quite far down south too (I can't recall). Thankfully living in Edinburgh there's plenty of centres within a reasonable commute so I'm hopeful! You never know, we could be colleagues before long!

Aw I'm going to miss this thread! Looking back on my first posts - all the way back on page 70 - is like looking back to my first day at school at the end of the year.

I made the mistake of posting my scores and had livilove telling me I was doing nothing to help, devilot telling me I spoke in a sneering manner and best of all SammyJ0e telling me I was an arrogant son of a b*tch. Fond memories.

How did you get on in the end Sammy?

Markymark, your scores in the interview are contradictory, it shows you have tendency to boast. Which is not a crime anyway. But it was well spotted by sammy.

Well congratulations for the offer, hope you will be helpful and kind to those still looking for work .wish you best luck for your desired location.

Sure. I got 42, which I'm really pleased with. Looking for Thanet, Dover, Canterbury - really hoping they have vacancies. There have only been a couple of people posting from Kent, so struggling to get a feel for our area.
    Good Luck :)
