E-Mails just come through. It's all official :D

Still need to wait for B&S to come through though before I can do anything, which is a tad frustrating.

Was just going to ask you about that. I am sure you will get an offer from them too, hopefully today. I am surprised I got on waiting list for BC. Was expecting unsuccessful but very relieved. I am so happy for you. Yay! :j
  • Morning all,

Just got feedback from Wessex and have made the reserve list with a 35.

Gutted obviously but currently working so no massive disaster, just really wanted the job - waiting game now...

Massive thanks to all those who posted helpful advice on this page, I've been secretly stalking you all these past 3 months and certainly wouldn't have got as far as I had done without your help!

And sincerly good luck to everyone that applied, hope you're reading positive stuff in your emails this morning.

    :-)

    Hey all,

Successful for Black Country with 35 but on the waiting list for Cov/Warks/Worcs.

The Black Country one is only about 20 minutes commute but the Cov/Warks/Worcs one is about 5 minutes walk. If I do next steps on the BC one and anyone drops out of the Worcs one would I still get an offer or should I give it a couple of days?

    Cheers :)

I'm glad you find it funny but here's a word of warning: I actually created the el_stepho account as well. It's going to be REALLY embarrassing when you turn up to your first day at DWP and realise you don't actually exist either.

    Now that was funny.
  • Has anyone heard anything from Thames Valley. I know one person got an offer yesterday, but is there anything else.

One thing is for sure, my refresh button and send/recieve button is beginning to scream for mercy.

Have just received my 2nd offer for the black country and now I'm so confused as what to do. I accept both and wait for the checks to be done before a final offer is. Made or decline one now :(

I have received a provisional offer from East London. Therefore if there is anyone waiting for news from East London, the offers have started coming.

Thats great news!! Well done... Glad theres finally some movement in London. What was your score?

What other region accepted you? I'm tempted to say not to accept an offer until tomorrow when the helpline is open. To be honest, even if you did next steps now they won't be looking at it today they're too busy getting these offers out so it's probably worth talking to someone.

    Thanks :)

Hard luck on yours but as we've seen wait list can very quickly become offers as some people will doubtless have dropped out over the course of the process.

Just give it a few days and see if there is any movement. I'm kind of tempted to do that myself to see if I get anywhere with the 5 min walk one. Also if loads of people have applied for multiple regions it might be that the people ahead of you in the list only put your region as a backup and decline the offer.

    Fingers crossed for all.
