Well I have to leave you all to it, I am off on holiday today, not back till end of next week, will have no phone and (omg) no web. . .
Dont know how I am going to cope with this hanging over head lol I really hoped it would be sorted one way or the other, I am worried that I will miss out as cant be contacted, tempted to nip and get an overseas sim just in case. . .
Why is it lol I havnt had a holiday for over 20 years, been out of work for 2 years and my partner decided to whisk me away, as I had nothing to tie me down lol . . .
Oh Well,
Best of luck to you all. . .
I hope you have all heard by the time I get back x x x x
Erm you do realise you only have 5 days to respond to the job offer? Otherwise you're out.0 -
where abouts do you work ?
what did you score? there arent many on here who applied for lincs area so good to finally find some people
i work in lincoln . some people have had rejections no offers yet . sounds like there will be a hell of a lot of applicants for the the areas closer to nottingham
Hi I work in Boston but have been floating around in Sleaford, Spalding & Skegness over the last 2 yrs. I got very good scores so am hoping I get lucky this time.
Fingers crossed everyone, good luck to everyone.0 -
It seems like some people have recieved refusals in the north west, but others haven't. I got 34, so if a refusal on 35 has been contcated, surely I should have been too.
It's all so very, very confusing......0 -
Offers of work are merit score based only. They start at the work & work down the scores list. If you dont receive an offer you are placed on a 6 month waiting list for any further recruitment.0

Got to the next stage, after all that hurdles, Dont know what flexi hours are possible to get for Full time job , does it depend on business need of each JCP? I want every monday off in place of working on saturday, working long hours each day. someone told me flexi hours are not available its just advertising.
Any ideas on it much appreciated.
For those still waiting, I can empathise with you, East scotland interviews were finished on first week of march. so roughly it took 6 weeks for the outcome. glasgow took almost 5 weeks. So roughly 5 weeks waiting time, hopefully u will hear soon.fingers crossedXX0 -

u should give a call to the recruitment team, another explanation could be it depends on the location form, If person A with 35 marks only wants to work in the city and there are only 2 seats , already filled by 36, 37 scores as it was their first choice- then 35 will be rejected. however someone with 31 marks is willing to travel to little twon B and there are 3 seats and no one is willing to go there then definatley this person will be invited for this job.0 -

Flexible hours means you may be able to come in a bit earlier and leave a bit earlier, you can build up excess hours and take a day off when you have enough.
JCP are open 9-5 Mon to Friday and those are the hours they are looking for staff to work but as I say you can leave a bit earlier sometimes.
There did use to be compressed hours where you worked all your hours over 4 days but they don't allow those on new contracts now as it means you are available outside of the business hours when we don't need you and then your diary has to be covered a day a week when you are not there.
Some offices will still accommodate part time hours but that is down to individual managers and of course you only receive part time pay0 -
I was thinking to go for part time too.0

So here we are again!!!.................no further forward
I expected to get home from work to find offers flying out in all directions???
So it was just our friends from the North then....... so its another restless weekend of 'maybe's'..... yet 'maybe nots'.0
