    Morning Athenajm

Another day glued to the computer for me as well. From what I remember you scored much better than my 32 so I think you should be ok. Am I wrong in hoping that SE Wales scores are quite low in comparison to some areas so that I MAY be in with a chance of an offer? I too am in work (only 30hours) and my job too drives me nuts as its sooooo boring and min wage!!!!! fingers crossed for all those still waiting x

Just had a text from someone working in JCP to say a message from Bernedette has come through - the SE Wales offers wont be going out until middle of next week.

Well, another day is here! Wonder if we will find out results for Birmingham and Solihull today!?

Its quite funny looking at all the green dots under peoples names on this thread! Everyone seems to be online!!!!

I can just imagine all you people at home/work madly refreshing this page over and over looking for new posts!! Its madness!

Good luck to all who will find out today, I hope its good news!

Yeah I got 38, but the high scores of other people on here (although mainly they are other districts) has made me very unsure, esp as I only put down Cardiff to work in, maybe I was too fussy? Although it sounds like unless you're at the very top of the list, then your preferences aren't necessarily taken into consideration. If I got offered a different JCP then I'd have to seriously think about it, as I don't drive so travelling to the valleys or somewhere outside of Cardiff could be too much hassle/too expensive.

It's crazy that we have to wait till the middle of next week, first it was the end of March, then the end of last week, then this week, now next week.....when will it all end

  • Yeah I heard next week too for SE Wales. I heard the 24th as a specific date. It's all down to people applying for multiple districts apparently. However, I don't see how a person's place on one merit list will have anything to do with their possible place on the merit list for another region.

Welshjoe, I was thinking the same thing, and also presumably other areas that have already heard had people applying for multiple districts so why would it hold our district up and not others? I just think it's an excuse.

I heard though that the top people in SE Wales already know who's successful or not so why can't they tell us sooner, it's really unfair (esp on internal staff who may meet the top people and be reading something into everything they do or say) to know for a week before they tell us. Oh well, 4/5 days to go!!

  • I'm just hoping that I'm successful in one of the districts I applied for. It's doubtful though, 28 isn't a great score and I was expected to get much higher. I haven't heard of anyone getting in the 40s for this district so I reckon anyone in the 30s has a great chance. If I do get on the merit list I will eat my foot. I really hope all who have applied on here get it though....and obviously my colleagues too. So yeah, genuine best of luck to you. :)
