Also, maybe it's just me, but why didn't the DWP just set everything up so each district was working to the same time scales, everyone's apps in by one date, offers to interview by another, interviews held during the same 2 week period, offers by x date, rather than each district working to their own plans and now a big kerfuffle happening as they realise that they're reliant on other districts due to multiple district applications? I guess that's too much like common sense!!
Because that would of been too simple?!
It can work and be fast though for example I applied for a temp job for a lower band for the DWP on the 27th February, had an interview for this position last friday and got a call this monday to say that I had been successful, starting at the beginning of May.
So it can work0 -

Are you taking the lower band job or waiting to see how you get on in this one too? :shhh:0 -

Hi,
When people are referring to comp sores this is actually the sift feedback scores. Almost all areas have posted feedback from the sift apart from those areas where they didn't have sufficient applicants. These areas, such a London East, have gone straight from test score (a far reduced test score than some other areas I should add), into interview. This is because ideally, they need a minimum of three applicants to interview for each position.
I hope that clarifies it for you.0 -
I spoke to the recruitment line today and they said all districts have to finish their interviews before offers can be made as people have applied to multiple districts and so that's slowing the process down. He expects us to hear the first two weeks of April. Maybe the Leicester offer was to an internal candidate as it doens't seem to fit with what any of us are being told by various sources?

I think the problem was that they didn't expect the amount of people to apply, I think it was 64,000 for something like 600 jobs. I think it would have been done a lot quicker if less people had applied.
It is very frustration but I assume we haven't got much longer to find out now x0 -

I also applied for the Southern Wessex area, but I scored 29 at my interview, (7,7,6,5,4) so I assume that I will be unsuccessful as I read somewhere here you are discounted if you score was under 30. How did you do?0 -

Well at the moment the plan is to take the lower band and see what happens with the EO role. If I get EO then I'll just move onto the jobcentre from there contact centre.
There's enough people on the waiting list for the temp job to take over if I somehow magically get this other role.0 -
Hi, can somebody please explain the difference between competency scores and interview (feedback) scores.
DH's feedback page showing 8,8,8,7,6 for interview feedback scores, but are there other scores located somewhere (out of 4) that I have read about on the forum but can't find on his account page? Can anyone help please? My DH's application status under Sift Feedback still shows as Awaiting Review. Interview was back on 2 March for Hants/IOW region. They said he would hear by 23rd March.
Spoke to a friend briefly who said she hadn't scored the requisite 4 at the interview and had therefore been rejected.
Confused! Found a link that had been posted re CS interviews and feedback etc but it wouldn't open so I'm none the wiser....
Many thanks.0 -

Its only the interview feedback scores that matter now anyway. Some regions didnt get competency scores0 -
I have posted a similar message previously and there was no response. Hence I am trying again.
Did anyone who had their interview in E London had their scores yet?
I have seen only one or two so far who have said that they have received their scores.
I am not interested in what the scores are if you do not want to disclose but just the span between the interview and scores, to identify if there is a pattern.
I am still waiting and mine was on the 14th March.
I have also heard once all the interviews are over, they will separate the passes and failures. Its only after this that the appointment process will start.0 -
