I'm sorry to accuse you of lying but I have a friend who is directly involved in the process.
Edited to add: posted this before I read the rest of her poisonous, mindless drivel.
Kind of wish I hadn't fallen for such obvious trolling now.

Well, the Manchester interviews start tomorrow, and mine is in just over 14 hours. Up and down about it, but a big thanks goes to all the good people who have shares their experiences here.
Good luck to all the Other Manc's, and see ya on the other side!0 -

Good Luck to all that are going for their interview.
Good luck to those waiting for interview results (includes me, impatiently waiting)
Good Luck to those waiting for the 'job offer' letter
Good Luck to anyone that doesn't fall in any of the above categories0 -
An awful lot of complaints about the conduct of some of the interviewers in East London.
Am not alone then... Hope all goes well.0 -

QueenMatilda, you'll be in some shock to realise you can't really cherry pick your customers to allocate jobs (even if you manage to do this, you'll be seen as a great adviser and get all the troublesome customers, have fun with those). I know for a fact that recruitment firms do this and ignore the ones that are furthest away from the labour market. Of course, in the private sector this is acceptable behaviour as it's a dog-eat-dog world there but working in a JCP, you'll soon realise how much more tougher it is to find people jobs. Hopefully you'll secure a position and help the ones that have been out of work for over two years and not just the ones that will find a job themselves anyway.
One thing I learnt from working in the public sector, if you work hard, you're expected to work even harder. If you work to the minimal amount, you have a more comfortable workload. Both result in pretty much the same salary so the motivation for you and your colleagues to smash targets isn't that great.East London applicants

I wonder how they'll decide who works where? For example, say there are 3 candidates - 1 got 42, 1 got 46 and 1 got 39 and they are all on the merit list waiting for job offers, but the higest scoring one will work in office a,b,c,d or e, the second highest only wants to work in a or b and the third will work in a,b or c, would they offer the highest scoring person a choice of offices or would the DWP work it out on separate lists for each office or something? Does that make any sense? Maybe my brain isn't working well (it is Monday!) but I can't work out how they'd decide where each person will go.£2012 in 2012 - £13810
