  • Helllooo i have applied to west of scotland. I had my interview 3 weeks ago received my scores.. 75543 :S confused!!

I found the interview quite difficult even though i have been through dwp recruitment process before and i worked as a band C for 3 years(was fed up with my fta contract as it kept getting extended and wasnt permenant so decided to try something new)

Same experience here. Absolutely brilliant interviewers, really friendly and really put me at ease.

Had my interview this morning and just got scores through - 8,8,7,7,5. Meh.

Can't see this meaning I'll be on the waiting list.

I think you did very well to be honest. You are well over the 30 mark, which hearsay says is the benchmark.

Just checked mine, got 7,8,6,7,6, which judging my nerves and babbling, I am very pleased about.

Does anyone know if North London have finished interviewing or if interviews are running into next week ??

The interviewers told me they'd still be interviewing this week and when I went there today to hand in proof of address which I'd forgotten on Saturday there were indeed a couple of people around waiting to be interviewed. So I've heard it and I've seen it :p

Long time ago. Some applicants got their scores 5 days after the interview so it seems there's no pattern for East London.....as usual.
Are you or have you been a civil servant?
The reason I'm asking this is because I saw the admin staff making notes on the list when I told them I worked for the DWP before and I was also asked questions about it at the interview. I don't know if it should make a difference, just curious.

Naa never worked for the DWP.

Had an awful interview though. Interviewers kept asking irrelevant questions and never allowed me to finish a single competency. Interview only lasted for 30mins. Base on this, am not really expecting anything extravagant.

Hi do any of you know when the Kent interviews finish . Also what happens when people's interview scores are the same ?

well done on your scores thunderplex. Did the interviewers have your application to hand? Also did they stick to the competencies or did they ask anything that wasn't competency related?

    Thanks love!

They stuck completly to the competancies, and stated very clearly at the begining that they had not seen my original competancies, so it was up to me if I used them or not. Really nice people.

come on East London, put some sores through

hey, only just came across this forum whilst searching for interview feedback on google...
i had my interview at East London on the 3rd march, and my feedback was 5 x 5's. Got these scores within 5 days... really don't know if these scores are good enough to get this job offer...:(

I don't know if interviews are still going on-going, but i was told (at the time of my interview) that we should know if we are successful or not within 2-3 weeks... hmmm...

Also, if anyone is still waiting to be interviewed, all I got to say is think of different examples and don't just stick to the main 5, because during my interview for 3 of the competencies I was asked to give another example  and this made me nervous :(

    gooodluck to evryone! :D

I was told at interview that they hadinitially been looking for early April start dates, but have now accepted that it's likely to be May - they were endeavouring to do offers 'at end of March' with start dates 'early May'.

Whether this is actuallythe case though, remains to be seen. Some regions need may be greater than others etc etc etc
A colleague and I both had an interview in Newcastle, and we were both told that we should hear something by the 21st. As my interview was on the 13th March that is pretty good going. Lets see if they stick to it lol xx

has anyone heard anything about what is happening with the jobs in Durham?? We applied to both areas, but the Durham applications have been knocked back. The explanation given to my colleague was that this had been done to get those people who had applied for both areas off the system. They will only interview you in one area but are aware of it if you have applied to multiple locations. Durham is the home area for both of us so obviously this is the area of choice. Just seems strange that they would interview us for Newcastle, although I also heard that Durham were taking a little longer to get everything processed, so maybe they were just trying to interview as many people as fast as possible... who knows lol xx Any information anyone has on this would be great.

Just concerned that if Durham hasn't finished interviewing and Newcastle are notifying applicants on 21st, it doesn't really seem likely that they could offer a position to anyone in Durham yet. Did that make sense ??? lol
