I was hoping the same thing.
I've been looking out for any Birmingham scores too.
I recieved 6, 7, 5, 6, 8.
I really hope it's enough.
Good luck to you both.
Hope we all find something soon.
They are fab scores too! I was told that they are still interviewing on Monday [tomorrow] and letters should be out the first week in April.0 -
God Redsky77... I dont know how you are not tempted to look at your scores from your interview. The chances of them being there now are very high.. Wished in some screwed up way i didnt know how i had done now. Not going to let it spoil Mothers Day though!!!!:D
I was very tempted to look yesterday [I was told the scores were being input on Saturday] but I'm OK now.
I know I stressed about my sift scores and I still got an interview and I don't want to go through that again. Hopefully the wait should be shorter this time. :rotfl:0 -

go and do customer service for a bank. DWP NEED SERIOUS TOUGH PROFESSIONALS who are going to fix this problem. Your to nice, to soft your just a teddy bear and the unemployed will eat you for breakfast.
Just another incompetent potential bureaucrat who is more obsessed with being nice and kind than getting things done.
5 years experience in recruitment never been sacked. What experience do you have in finding someone long term unemplyed a job?
I found this site a couple of days ago in time for my interview on the 27th March for North West - a lot of it has been helpful and I would like to thank all the members who have gone out of their way to offer advice and support.
In response to 'Queen' (ahem) Matilda, on behalf of myself (a 34 year old degree educated single mum working three part time jobs and trying to get back into the workplace), my friend - a trained teacher who is now having to serve bacon butties to golfers, and the other too many to count people up and down the country - older trained people and young desperate to get some training people alike - it is preposterous that you want a job supposedly helping people get back into work when you consider anyone who has been out of a job for more than a month as being unable to offer anything - is this what you intend to say to the thousands of young people with no idea what to do for the best - way to boost morale! If you sat down opposite me and this stuff came out your mouth I would do more than eat you for breakfast lovey. Do you think the reason grown adults are crying themselves to sleep at night wondering how they are going to pay their mortgages and feed their kids is because they haven't had someone like you refusing to be nice for their own good and tut-tutting at them, or do you think it could be because we are in the middle of an economic crisis and they genuinely don't know what else they can do to find work.
I am never sure on these forums whether these are real attitudes or just made up nonsense by people who have no life, but it puts people off joining and contributing - like those moments in high school when you wonder if its worth going because those bit**es will be there who will insist on making it difficult.
Thanks again to all the 'nice' people on here and best of luck to you all (or most of you anyway) - I will feedback on my results when I have them so anyone looking for info re: NW keep a look out.0 -

I didnt use any notes and i used fives different job experiences for 5 different competencies as i wanted to show to them that I'm not a robot, I'm not a bureaucrat and if they REALLY WANT to fix the unemployed then they need people like me who have the experience of getting people into work. I did tell them this in the interview in one of my competencies of how i sacked 3 staff on the spot not becuase they were incapable of doing the job but because they spent more time gossiping and afffecting the performance of our top recruiters. Should have seen DWPs faces when i said this.
My concern is that most people on here HAVE NO IDEA how to get people into work.
YOU CANT BE MR NICE OR MISS NICE. YOU HAVE TO BE TARGET DRIVEN HUNGARY AND DETERMINED. The recruitment company I work for has a staff success rate of 1/40 nationally. Alot of people drown because they aren't hardworking, or creative or resilient enough. They arent able to open doors.
I'm doing this as I want to give something back because the public sector is full of incompetent lazy bureaucrats who are more interested in the salary than achieiving something. People claim they want to help but most people are unable to do the job. They have no idea where to find a job yet alone get in contact with the right person to find the job. Interviews in the private sector are tougher than the public sector.
This is a tough world. Its a tough country. Its very competitive. If you haven't been able to find a job since leaving university, or have been unemployed for more than a month WHAT HAVE YOU REALLY GOT YOU OFFER?
My fear is that this process is in fact recruiting the wrong kind of people. Its recruiting box tickers and not rule challengers. To be creative you have to take risks. You have to do things that challenge the norm and i do wonder if the dwp are going to give people the remit to do it. I could find anyone a job. When you are in recruitment you learn tricks.
I hope i get the job and i hope dwp employs people with my mentality and experience hence we would clean up the unemployment crisis with the young. My fear is they are recrutinng inexperienced tick box yes men and women.
I think Mr Cameron might have something to say if you think you can change the rules lol. I have had people sit infront of me having a moan about the process in JCP and although personally I may agree with them from time to time there are rules and they have to be adhered to. I think if you think you are going to walk into the job all guns blazing and start telling people how you are going to run the show you won't last 5 minutes. Your colleagues will hate you and your HEO will tear you to shreads in your 1 to 1
I think 5 minutes is way too generous - DWP faces - what about yours when you get a rejection letter. It would not just be your HEO that would tear you to bits, it would be the jobseekers!! And yes, What has the Hungarian Jobseeking Service got to do with any of it?? And, by the way - you would fail miserably on literacy alone!! :rotfl::j:T0 -
CORRECTIONS MS/MR QUEENMATILDA:
1. YOU HAVE TO BE TARGET DRIVEN HUNGARY (HUNGRY??) AND DETERMINED. [spelling and grammar incorrect]
2. They have no idea where to find a job yet alone get in contact with the right person [ hope u aint implying corruption by greasing top managers` hands to get jobs?] to find the job. Interviews in the private sector are tougher than the public sector. [ From personal experiences I vehemently disagree]
3. If you haven't been able to find a job since leaving university, or have been unemployed for more than a month WHAT HAVE YOU REALLY GOT YOU OFFER? [ You are being insensitive and outright rude to jobseekers. The reason these people aren`t finding jobs is because dodgy recruiters like yourselves are hoarding all jobs in the market, and then exagerate your candidates` capabilities, you coach them what to say and some even bribe recruitment managers. This leaves the genuine honest jobseekers being unable to compete for the jobs because of dishonest recruitment companies.
4. I could find anyone a job. When you are in recruitment you learn tricks. [ of course you can, for reasons I mention above. Not sure if civil service would allow bribery in their systems.]
5. I hope i get the job and i hope dwp employs people with my mentality and experience hence we would clean up the unemployment crisis with the young. My fear is they are recrutinng inexperienced tick box yes men and women.[ The first step would be to rid the country of dodgy recruitment companies who collude with senoir managers to create a cartel giving other candidates who go through recruitment companies an unfair advantage over other jobseekers. DWP is doing the right thing by employing honest people not trickers]
6. You also mentioned you have a friend who tells how many people have scored what......I hope the civil service has counter-fraud section, they would certainly be having "a good look" at such forumns and must seek to find out what other information your friend provided to you during the whole application process. You obviously had an unfair advantage over other candidates because your friend is part of the recruitment team and is giving out information to you, which, to my knowledge, is unacceptable.
7. Your spellings are horrible dear, you use your instead of you are...I wonder how got your job in the first place if you fail basic spelling....
Dont come and patronise genuine jobseekers here who are trying to support each other. It is always dangerous to assume that people here are daft, learn to have respect and compassion for those who are facing joblessness.

Bored of reading that chat, none of it is constructive. Please rise above it.
Back to feedback, supporting, motivating and giving constructive criticism. I read this to see how fellow posters feel and can empathise with them.
Good luck to those still waiting to be interviewed and those still waiting on your scores. If you need any advice there are people willing to help on the forum
