I've decided that I'm not even going to look at my scores. I am just going to wait and see if I get a letter or not in a couple of weeks. Don't want to get too stressed about what my scores mean when I have no idea what the pass rate is!

Had my interview today - Interviewers were really nice made every effore to put me at ease.

First 3 questions were fine but the 2nd 2 I floundered! A bit dissapointed in my performance toward the end as I'd prepared but nerves got the better of me, so surreal I could hear what I was saying wasnt making any sense!

Will just have to see what happens now, will keep you all posted with progress and good luck to everyone who have interviews booked.

    :)

Same thing happened to me! It started well but the last couple of questions threw me a little, I started listening to myself and thought "what is she talking about", I stopped and asked if I was answering the question and they said yes, carry on! Either way its done now, no use torturing ourselves - the best of luck to you. Who knows, we might be working together

I wish I had that kind of restraint! My interview was this morning and I've already checked twice!!

I agree speculating about what scores = what job/list is only torture, there's really no way to know until the letter drops onto the mat...

As previously explained, i work for dwp and have done for nearly 3 years i have no need to lie!!!!! I am simply trying to find out other peoples experiences. I had my interview in Steatham jcp @ 9am and my feedback was on late afternoon!! Sorry if u feel that i am lying but to outright accuse someone when you have no proof is down right silly!!!! have copied and pasted my feedback to prove indeed that i am not lying!!!!!!! and thanks to the post saying well done :)

    Well done Mosch 1477

When I said that there was more than one interview taking place at E London at any one time, a know it all said that there must be an error in the system until one of the posters came to my defence. When I did go for my interview, there was more than one person being interviewed in different rooms over there. So I would take this "Know it all" individuals comments with a pinch of salt. It can be very frustrating when you try to share your good news and get accused of lying.

You're right, there were more than 1200 interviews scheduled for East London and I believe I was one of the people thinking that it's gonna be a rate of 3 to 1 as per DWP policy. Obviously I was wrong (apologies if I jumped at your throat) as each district made different provisions, especially East London.
Did you get any feedback yet or any indication when we're goona hear something? I forgot to ask how long we'll have to wait for feedback.
How did your interview go btw?

I don't think you did. That individual no longer participates in this forum. I felt my interview went well but not too sure how well it went for the interviewers. Its what they do and think that counts. I have done the deed and am just waiting. When I did ask re: feedback, said mid to end of April. But then I think there were one or two results from E London recently. Therefore looks hopeful that we might be getting results from E London after all. When, only the Almighty knows.

I would just like to confirm that I also had an interview, although it was in Newcastle and I also had my feedback the same afternoon. In fact unbelievably it was within approx 3 hours. I had been told at the interview that I would have feedback within 2 days - go figure. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it. By the way I got five 8's so fingers crossed.

I currently work in the civil service - not the dwp but perhaps as a civil servant this negates the need for further checks and speeds up certain aspects of the process, but this is just conjecture. I cannot explain the reason why I and other people have had almost immediate feedback but what we can agree on, is that country wide there seem to be massive discrepencies in the way this exercise has been conducted so this latest revelation really shouldn't be a huge surprise.

my advice to anyone who still has an interview to come would simply be, know your competencies inside out, think of a couple of back up competencies and know those too. Really don't stress about anything. My experience was straightforward, the interviewers were really nice.

the most valuable tip i can give you is that if they stop writing (one writes and one asks questions) then you have stopped saying anything relevant, so change your thread fast, and if they are asking lots of questions then you are not saying what they want to hear

in short if they are not asking many questions and spend a lot of time writing, you are doing well

    good luck xx

My partner got her interview scores back today for Birmingham & Solihull. She got 55564! I hope this is enough!

Just a observation i have made over the course of this thread is that a lot of high scores being posted seem to be of higher volume in certain areas, like Birmingham interview scores seem to be lower in general?

Maybe its just me, but this seems to be the case?

Gotta disagree here as they were continually writing with me - they had to delay asking the next competency at one point as the writer was scribbling away - yet I scored very very badly - basically I didn't score over 3 for any of my competencies. This has really shocked me as I did not feel I did that badly. They also didn't ask that many questions - one follow up for 4 of them and 2 for the 5th.

I know I wasn't great as I did struggle to get a handle on a couple of the competencies as I could not relate their specific bullet point question back to my examples (and I had a couple for each) and I had to ask for further clarification of the question. I was expecting to get somewhere in the 4/5/6 range as I felt I did OK with a the other three. The scores I got therefore left me wondering if there is something else going on as I am not a young un and the few other people I saw being interviewed were in their 20's/30's. Who knows.
