Well finally for me some good news!

Had my interview in Derbys on Fri and got my feedback today 89978.

Still can't believe it and that's after S.Yorks rejected my written comps and I just scraped through for interview in Derbys.

I did work hard all last week and completely changed 2 of the comps that they used others to boost the scores of and it worked!!

But, I have to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has posted even the smallest bit of advice, as the amount of help I have got from this thread has been invaluable. And that goes for the encouragement too.

You're not a bad bunch really......... ;-)

And lots of luck to those still waiting...and waiting....

Congrats - that's awesome news and awesome scores. Hopefully that should ensure you get a job offer. You deserve a drink I think :beer:

This waiting for scores business is driving me mad.. if I dont get my scores by this Friday I will literally CRY! I could really do with some good news before I go to Spainn!!! I'm staying optimistic. Everyone here seems to have done really well so I'm keeping my fingers crossed even though I got 45554 on my app and at the interview I had to ask them to reword 2 questions cos i started flapping. Ergh.

And I got less than you on my written comps!

I'm sure asking them to reword the questions won't have done you any harm. The waiting made me panic too

Asking for a question to be reworded is not a bad thing, its a good thing. It shows that you are not afraid to ask when you understand something

Thanks guys!! to be fair i'm pretty good at interviews as its what I teach young people for a living! haha.. watching this forum is the only thing keeping me sane!! I think I would have given up hope if I hadn't found this thread!

Fingers crossed for me and for everyone else awaiting scores! In the mean time I'm going to watch Masterchef.. that'll keep my mind of it for at least another hour!!

I've been following this forum for quite a few weeks and appreciated all the comments and advice. Having applied for Durham and Tyne & Wear I breathed a sigh of relief to get an interview as they only sifted candidates above 80%.

Just checked and got my interview competency results which are 8,8,9,7,8 so understandably thrilled but unsure if these are just what will be based on giving job roles or will be combined with the test and sifted competency scores? Was told successful internal candidates will be given jobs 1st and would hope they're in place by end of April so no external starts until at least May. Anyone have any other information yet?
