In the e-mail inviting you to book an interview it states towards the bottom the following:

You must bring withyou a photograph of yourself which is passport sized which we will retain. This is used for identification purposesonly. It is essential that you bringthis along otherwise we will be unable to interview you.

I would certainly have one with you when you go for your interview

thanks. For some reason my e-mail did not have this information. has anyone else not received this info too.

I applied for Kent and was sifted there but got a 3 and a rejection letter but my letter said that i would receive feedback from my other areas and that this letter only applied to Kent (or something along those lines) am starting to think that my rejection letter was across the board even though my feedback for competencies hasn't been carried across :(

Love the idea of having a puppy - what have you named him/her?

Pups called Pepper. She is 3 quarter chihuahua 1 quarter yorkie (chorkie) really tiny and cute. Thanks for asking. And remember it's not over till it's over. Best of luck.

Well, I had my interview for SE Wales yesterday. It didn't go as well as hoped, I don't think I was specific enough in my answers for a couple fo the questions, they kepy asking me questions like 'how exactly did you get feedback' 'what did you say to them to get their input' etc etc, which is annoying because I did fairly well in the competencies on the app form. I think, for me, that I found the app easier as we only had 200words so I had to pick out the crucial elements of each competency whereas with the interview I could happily waffle on for ages!! :)
I only took my passport and a bank letter as ID, they didn't ask for the letter, just my passport. I did say I hadn't bought a photo but they said the passport was fine and I didn't need a separate photo. They didn't seem to really check my other documents either, they took my P60s/P45 etc for my most recent job and my previous one, but didn't ask for proof of my JSA from 2009, or my other job in 2009, or my short period of self-employment (which is good cause I have no proof of any of them!). I might call the recruitment people and find out whether I should send this evidence when I get it, or whether they'll get in touch with me etc. Although TBH I don't hold out much hope of getting a job, v frustrating considering I got a good test score (94%), fairly good competency marks and did the job for nearly 2 yrs until my contract ended last August! Oh well, such is life.

    Good luck everyone.x.x.

Wish I were nosy and could have a peep on my scores too.. Even then, I was not even wearing my glasses..eh.still counting days... 6 days to go even to hear back scores. They decided to keep the score secret until everyone has been taken interview.... But good that some districts are sifting interviews scores and communicating efficiently. I wish that were the case in Scotland too. I got my interview early just wanted to avoid the stress of waiting... But what will be will be...

Hi there which district interviewed you?

Hi athenajm, had my interview in Cardiff yesterday (changed it from today). Had a very similar experience, was prompted for more info a few times. Couldn't sleep last night kept reliving the interview and what I COULD have said instead of what I did say! Oh well its done now just wait for feedback. Good luck everyone.

are you joking, or do you really need a photo too. cant see it saying you have too any where in the booklets/docs

I took a photo in and they didn't actually do anything with it as I had my passport - they gave it back to me and said they didn't need it - but tbh they didn't really seem to know what they were doing with the paperwork side of things..could see the confusion written clearly on his facial expressions, and the person who took my paperwork forgot to take a copy of my ID which didn't help as I had to go back to them a second time with it!

I appreciate you pointing that out but there really was no need to be quite so rude in doing so. I had read that document but had jumped past that bit as it referenced writing the competence - not in reference to an interview. I am aware you are nervous re the interview - as those of us who have been fortunate to receive one are - but that does not justify your sarcastic and rude comment to me in your message after I had asked very politely for a pointer to the comment.

I will conclude with wishing you well for your interview.

Lorac I had given you the information already but like you said you didn't take the time to go through it all and asked me to pin point it for you which I did.

I don't feel I was that rude, but feel free to make more crying posts.

I wish you well on the interview too sir.

My one states that you only need to bring a separate photo, signed on back by someone known to you for 3 years, IF you haven't bought along photo ID, like passport or photo driving license.
