DWP Recruiting Again - 2012

Got North London interview email at 8am this morning. Booked an afternoon slot on 10th.
The checking process seems a little over the top for a position such as this - asking for all your records and then permission to talk to HRMC to check! Most of my records were lost in a house move last year, so I'm going to have fun!
Oh well - let's see what Saturday brings, but I have pretty much abandoned hope now with all of this petty paperwork requirement.
Yes, toyed with idea to 'do it quick', but then thought it might take a while to get all the paperwork together, so opted for 17th. Good luck with yours. :cool:0 -
Still no news for me for South London
I had 86% on my test has anyone had their competencies marked as see that some have been invited to interview - Very well done to those that have

Just to let you know there are others on here still waiting for comp scores. I'm still waiting and not in your area so there are a few to still come in. I've stopped checking 3 or 4 times a day just look in the morning and evening because it was driving me mad seeing nothing change. Sure we will here soon.0 -

I have tried to cut my frequent logging in to twice a day but finding it so difficult being stuck in limbo0 -
do you still needto bring in a passport sized photo to the intereview even if you have a passport as suggested by a previous poster. thanks0

            Thanks, I really hope so.
Overall I think the interview went well, I made them laugh as well so that's always good. Had I not seen his notes I would have left feeling it went ok. That'll teach me for being nosey eh!0 -

I do know what you mean especially as some areas have had interviews and scores back from their interview while we are still waiting for sift scores but then they will have to wait until we know one way or the other before being placed. Just as an aside I got a new puppy on Saturday and this has given me a new focus and what will be will be. Not that I am telling everyone to rush out and get a new pet but maybe find something to focus on doing otherwise all this waiting which is rediculous will make you depressed. I know for a fact one of my areas finished sifting 3 weeks ago so why the scores aren't on I don't understand. Did you apply for more than one area?0 -
I had my interview yesterday. I saw the lead interview write 5,4,3 ( he asked 3 of the questions) down the side of his paper alongside the competency headings- are these my scores? My adviser says the two interviewers have to agree scores after interview so they are probably how many of the sub headings within each competency that i covered. I am not so convinced.
Would really apprecite any advice.
Don't worry, it is discussed and agreed before finalising and there is always a chance that they don't get Enough people with higher scores and raise everyone else's in order to fill the positions. Fingers crossed.0 -

Yes they need to have a record of who actually went to the interview!! You could have sent in a ringer!!!0 -
Ok give me your hand I'll walk you through it.

Bottom of Page 4.
Print it out and point it out if they ask a specific bullet point question, from what I gather all questions should aim at broad section of the competencies only.
I appreciate you pointing that out but there really was no need to be quite so rude in doing so. I had read that document but had jumped past that bit as it referenced writing the competence - not in reference to an interview. I am aware you are nervous re the interview - as those of us who have been fortunate to receive one are - but that does not justify your sarcastic and rude comment to me in your message after I had asked very politely for a pointer to the comment.
I will conclude with wishing you well for your interview.0
