I am in same boat. I am going to phone and check, but I am wondering (hoping) if you can use a previous full British Passport to prove nationality - it does not specify current - it verifies nation of birth which would not change would it??

To use a passport as ID it specifically states that it has to be current but there are alternative options for that one.

    Hi guys,

At my mums interview she didn't have a current passport either which we were both worried about, however when she provided an old one and they accepted it saying it was proof of nationality. The only issue with this was the signature! As she had gotten married the signature had change so she took along her marriage certificate too.

    Hope this helps :)

Got my interview in a day's time and I have to say, after going over my examples, I'm not so sure this will do. It was much easier back in 2009, I was able to give various work/life experiences but recent experience is all in employment and it's in the same role I did before so I can't stretch the truth too much otherwise the interviewers would clock on. Using old examples is difficult to adapt in an interview, oh well.

It's good to see some mid-high scores from people though, gives us the ones in waiting some hope it'll be easier than it's appearing to be. Whatever I get, I'll report back.

Also, does anyone know if the examples you give can overlap into other competencies? I've noticed a couple of my examples do that with finance and compliance. Can't think of examples where they cover all sub-headings, grrr.
  • While Camelot1971's remarks are a real boon, and absolutely helpful, I can't help thinking that a 'perfect' response to any competency as stated in the framework docs would have to be UTTER bullsh*t. I mean, what would that sort of a story look like?!

I'm working hard on the stories for the rest of this week (some now replaced with more entertaining examples from outside work), and over the weekend I'll check back over the bullet points to see how close I am. May have to get the spanner out at that point, but as far as I can tell the interviewers really want to hear about your example to see how good it is, so they're not going to block you by sending you to some incredibly specific aspect or other. Why would they want to screw you into a corner like that?

Has anyone been for an interview in Chippenham, swindon, or Bournemouth, the Wessex region?
  • quicks questions.

in the CHARACTER AND CRIMINAL RECORD DECLARATION FORM, do you tick an option for "May we get in touch with the court" even if you ticked "no" for the previous question.

Also Pensions Questionnaire, what will you put as your "When are you starting work".

    thanks
