Hi everyone,
I received this e-mail this morning and wondered if anyone else did/ what it means:
You have been invited to complete the Civil Service Initial Sift On Line Assessment.
Please note, this test should be completed by midnight on Wednesday 25/01/2012.
You will have a maximum of 150 minutes to complete this online assessment. You should make sure you have set aside enough time to complete the test and that you are in a quiet environment where you will not be interrupted for the duration of the test.
Once you have started the test, you must complete it in one sitting and you will be given full instructions about the test before you begin.
If you require any particular arrangements (for example due to a disability or health problem) to be made in order for you to complete the on-line test, you MUST contact the e-mail address at the end of this message BEFORE accessing the on-line test.
Please ensure you have full internet connection for the duration of the test.

I got 74% in the online test. I won't be able to do this test however because I don't have 2.5 hours free before midnight tonight! Seems a bit unfair really.0 -

Nope, did not get this email - possibly because my score was only 71%.. Perhaps the pass mark is higher than that
Has anyone else got this email? If so, what was your score pls?
A bit silly to send someone an email about 150 min test and expect them to complete it the same day TBH though....0 -
Just checked online, still the same message:Applicant Status
: Situation Test complete
You have completed the Situation Test.
We are reviewing your results and your application will progressed shortly.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to return regularly to check the status of your application or check your e-mail inbox.

Just reading the email a few post up, its the exact same wording as the first online test, only a longer duration....
Could be linked to % from first test, has anyone who scored less than 70% recieved the email?
It maybe only those who scored higher than a certain %, hence its another method to whittle down the numbers??0 -
I did my online test last Wednesday (18th). I also had a missed call from the DWP this morning but they didn't leave a message, all very strange. I had some computer problems when doing my initial test and wrote them an email about it, wondering if my test had been properly submitted (it froze on the 'submitted' screen for a while and my score read 0% before my actual score appeared). Wondering if it might have something to do with that...0

I was in the 99th percentile (it's NOT a score) and I haven't had this email. Perhaps if you are above a certain percentile you get through automatically, then there is a lower range where they have asked for an extra test to be done as an additional sift. All guesswork though unless somebody in the know tells us the facts (which doesn't seem very likely as most of this thread is speculation).0

Would be good to know if anyone else got that particular email and if so, what was their score and when have they done the original test....0
