Could I ask the guys a question who've been interviewed? Those who were asked for a 2nd example for a Competency...were you allowed to finish what you'd started and then asked for a second example?
Or were you cut short and stopped, and asked to talk about another example?

No, not exactly. I talked all the way through my example, but never answered her question....eg. can you give me an example of a time where you diffused a situation (or something like that) I explained me and customer service and a situation, but not in relation to her example, I just had to adapt my answer to the competence. Its not a complete different example, you just have to tweak what your talking about thats all0 -

So let me get this straight.
When they ask you one of the competency questions, it's on a specific part of the competency. ie.
Give me an example of a time when you have communicated with impact/managed finances
as opposed to,
Could you give me an example of how you've built capability/ managed people and performance?
And they expect you to focus on that one specific part.
But in 200 words we were supposed to cover all the bullet points and sub-headings with one example?
She would say.... were going to look at a customer focused service next, are you ready for your question or do you need time to read over your notes..... Then your question would be, can you give me a time where you helped diffuse a situation? (I honestly cant remember the actual question) but my answer wasnt talking about diffusing a situation, it was about implementing a new system..... so I had to think on the spot. It was part of the competence framework examples, so I guess you just need to be prepared to adapt your answer and think on the spot....0 -

I still haven't had feedback from my interview last Monday, but they did say that it would depend on how quickly HR processed my application and that it could be a couple of weeks.0

Is this from the Black Country? I know you have scores from them but many have either refer to another area's scores/comments or have nothing changed since the situation test was completed. Has anyone received an interview invite from BC?0
