That's correct. When you click on each link, its address appears in the browser of a new window and that's what you need to correct. The document should open then.

can someone tell me what the above are and where could i otain these. thanks

They are links to documents relating to the interview process. When you book an interview, you get a confirmation on the status page with the links following on.

    hi all,

I have been notified today that I have been successful and invited to interview!! Really pleased as it's been a long wait but also really nervous now.

Am going to follow this thread from now on as I read back a fair few pages and some great advice on here so far, would love to hear from people who have already attended interview now for tips and advice please. I am worried about elaborating enough on the competencies to satisfy the interviewers as there are a lot of areas that need to be covered by the looks.

oh and I defo don't think that there are anymore tests as when I had my confirmation of interview email it says its 1 hour long so that would not give enough time to do interview and tests I would have thought. Good luck to all :)

Curious...my invite email says a 45 minute interview...

Checked the others and they are still there. BC still saying see Birmingham scores for feedback. They'll have a job on! Lol

I hope this really achieves some good news for you...it seems like it's been absolutely endless for you.

    Well, well, well................

You may or may not remember that I posted my dismal competency scores from my home area (S.Yorks) a week or so back - 3,4,1,3,2. I received my rejection email a while ago.

I also applied for N.Derbys as a last minute back up and the scores there changed from 'on hold' to 1s with the message 'Yorkshire to input'.

I still check this board because I like to follow peoples experiences and love to see people getting interviews and all the buzz relating to that. So, tonight, just before I came on the board, I checked my CS account to see, out of curiosity, whether or not Derbys had got around to stating that my app was unsuccessful when - lo and behold - my comps have been marked by them - 4,4,4,5,5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won't hold my breath for an interview, - this probably isn't good enough - but I must admit to some self satisfaction that I knew they weren't as bad as S.Yorks seemed to think :rotfl:

Now, earlier this week I rang the helpline and asked for the email to complain about my scores (2 of the comps I used got me the job back in 2009) and also said it wasn't fair that Derbys were not now going to mark my comps when other areas were marking even though it wasn't peoples home area.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it because frankly, even if they had replied and said "of course you can have them marked by Derbys", the cynical side of me thinks they would have come up with exactly the same scores to prove a point!

So, for all of you out there who are disappointed with your 'home' scores and have applied to other areas - there may just be a light at the end of the tunnel :)
  • Cheers Gael-I've done it now.

Thanks for the info you are a star!

    Good luck.

Oh lordy...I can't help but laugh out loud like a crazy person sat alone at the PC...so not only has the whole process so far been very skewiff...but the interview duration also seems to differ I guess based on districts?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I can't believe I am shocked to see this...should not have expected anything less!

    Good Luck!:p
  • My test score was 71 but when I spoke to Recruitment Helpline they have told me that for East London the pas mark was only 35%

    Hi
I work for DWP and they upped the pass mark as over 60,000 people applied for the posts, pass mark is now 90%
I applied for promotion got 75% on my tests but got an email saying the above
