Hi Sherrilou. Well done! I got the same email with nothing attached, but I'm hoping they are the same docs which are linked to my confirmation on the CS jobs status page. I say hoping - because I can't actually open these...lol!
I'm going to try to open them from work on Monday and if that doesn't work I'll be on here looking for help!

Glouc/Bath/Weston seem to be the only locations.

Hey I have the email with the links that work would you like me to forward it to you?

East London emails are being sent by alphabetical order.

What's your source on this may I ask?

I wish my surname was Aaron

Just got a rejection email for SE Wales.:(

Not entirely unexpected as my competency scores were low but the on-line test was over 90%.

I haven't read through all the previous posts here but a bit puzzled why some areas are completely ignoring the competency scores however others are using them as their only basis to reject applicants.
Is it because they had too many applications in some areas to read through everyone's competency statements ?
There appears to be a lack of consistency in the process and it's becoming a post code lottery.

Sorry to hear that:( Do you mind me asking what scores you got? Or were any under 4?

Has anyone heard of anyone being rejected yet even when all 5 comps are over 4???

They were all under 4 mainly 2's as I did not know about the required way of writing them .

You should be ok with 4's or more possibly even a 3 in there at a guess.
Anyway Good Luck to all who are being interviewed, presumably it's a 1 in 3 chance of getting through that next stage.
  • I applied for South Yorks...I have received my rejection email :(

Apparently they had to up the pass mark due to the sheer volume of applicants, so I got the boot
Not surprising in my area, considering the unemployment figures
Guess I will be signing on again next Thursday

Oh well...Not to be for me I suppose :(

I guess my inside source was right about east london.

What I don't understand is, if they are going to have your comps at the interview, they will have to read them all beforehand anyway, so why not mark them?
    :o

Sorry that's bad luck :(, if you have been following these posts, you will know not to take it to heart, because it's all been very arbitrary...:o

Cheers for that - but can you confirm if they are the same docs as linked on the status page (below)?

    Character and Criminal Record Declaration

    Competencies

    CRB Cover letter

    Pensions Questionnaire

What you should bring with you to the interview

    Important please read

If so - I now have them as I found AOBoy's earlier post on this. (For anyone else who needs to know, you have to correct the browser address - where it says 'http' you have to go in and type an 's' at the end.)

However, if not - then yes please! :D

I think it is so bad that they have only just decided to up the pass mark in some areas - after leaving people hanging for 4 weeks since the the test was completed and marked!! They knew how many people had passed so why not up the pass mark earlier? Makes no sense!!
