Hey Gettingready,

I just got 1st Interview email too, and I also got 71% in the test for East London.

I'm quite suprised seeing as I haven't done the competencies right but they have ignored them completely (no marks).

Does anyone know if they will still mark over them at the interview which might fail me or is just the interview questions that are important from here on out?????

That's great! Particularly since you (like me) didn't know about their format. You might yet still get it, dead pleased for you.

97% in test. All 3's in comps due to not using STAR. Oh well at least they've finally marked it.

The consensus seems to be that the interview is a clean slate and you will be judged on that alone. For those of us with no competency scores it's strange because usually you feel you are there because your application was ok and they are interested. I am not sure on what basis I have been selected, the test score? Anyway, ho hum can't complain! My competencies weren't great so I am going to write some more!

Don't worry about not using STAR or not doing the competencies "correctly" -- I did them wrong because I used more than one example for each, but still got decent scores somehow.

put it this way, I know my mate scored less than me in the test, and used very poor and generalised competencies but has an interview.

If I don't get an interview, God help the DWP :rotfl:

Just logged on and have scores for Staffs/Shrops - 77676 - exactly the same as my B'ham scores were until they were set to 1 last week. And the feedback states 'Acceptable example refer to birmingham solihull for feedback'. My comments are still there under B'ham even though the scores are 1 and are either 'Strong evidence of meeting competency' or 'Acceptable level of competence demonstrated' depending if the score was a 7 or a 6. Not much to go on but better than some from what people have been posting.

Basically they have taken the B'ham scores and propogated them to Staff/Shrops - which is fine by me but why on earth wait until now - it could have been done last week or even the week prior as my B'ham scores came in on 13th Feb if I recall correctly!!

Well I just hope that is good enough to get me an interview - my percentile was 94%.

ETA: My Black Country application still shows 'Your application is awaiting review' under the sift score section.
