Well I am taking my typed out competencies in with me and I shall ask if they mind me referring to them. If they do I shall remind them it is an interview and if they want an audition they are in the wrong profession.

    I AM BRICKING IT REALLY.

Is your interview Monday then SG?

Mine is Wednesday. I am currently typing up my competencies now.
Have you prepared any other examples?
  • Hi, I have been a longtime lurker and have found this thread really useful.

Just received comp scores for westLondon 5,5,5,6,6 and 92percentile. I hope that's enough to secure an interview. Good luck to everyone. X

JUST got an email to pick an interview slot (East London).
Funny to see the poor English/grammar in the email actually....

    Dear ......,

    RE:Executive Officer/Band C East London

Congratulations on reaching this stage of the selection process.

We are pleased to invite you to interview and you are now invited to
schedule a slot to confirm your attendance.

To book a slot, please log into your communication centre using the
link below and then click on the `Schedule for 1st interview` on the
    left.

    [LINK:
    href="https://jobsstatic.civilservice.gov.uk/company/nghr/dwp/returning_applicant.html"]Please
click here to view the status of your application

In order to maximise your choice of slot we strongly recommend that
you make a booking at the earliest opportunity.

If you have applied and been successful at the application stage for
more than one vacancy you will only be interviewed once. Please note
although this notification details only one of the vacancies for which
you have applied we are aware you have applied for other locations.
Your candidate status for the additional locations will remain "on
hold" until the results of your single interview is known. You need to
schedule a slot to confirm your attendance for the vacancy listed on
this notification. Your results from this interview will be carried
across for all vacancies for which you have applied and for which you
have met the standard to be taken forward to interview.

Feedback on your application form can be found in your communication
    centre.

We look forward to meeting you. Please make sure that you arrive at
least 15 minutes before your scheduled slot.

The attached documents gives details about what you need to bring with
you on the day and also further information about your interview.
    Please read these carefully.

You must bring with you a photograph of yourself which is passport
sized which we will retain. This is used for identification purposes
only. It is essential that you bring this along otherwise we will be
    unable to interview you.

If you are no longer interested in this position, please log onto the
    system and withdraw your application.

Picked one for mid march... just for fun (should be at work by then follwoing my offer from yesterday's interview).

The dates were going till 29th of March - the available interview slots for East London so whoever really hopes for those jobs... still has a very, very long wait.....

No competencies feedback, still "under review" but new tab on the left when I logged on following the email with "First Interview" something and clicking on that - dates/times came up.

Just got an email confirmation for my booked slot....

I'm taking a few with me. This whole experience has taken over my life. Who'd have thought this job would mean so much to us? It just goes to show how our lives have changed so much over th last few years. I want it more than anything now after putting all this effort in.

Can I just ask if anyone here applied under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme and if so, what your experience has been?

Does anyone know if they've started sending out interview/rejection letters for (North) London yet?

Got apps in for North and East London, no word from either, though looks like East London sending out interview invites. :p

Nothing there at all, and I have only applied for East London....

The interview slots were for Commercial Rd, this is one of the location I said on my A/F that I was NOT interested in (or Hackney or Dalston) and still this is the location they sent me as interview location. Perhaps all East London's interiews are scheduled for there, no idea but definitely not interested in Commercial Rd myself - Barking, Ilford, Leytonstone, Stratford and close by... not further than that.

Still, I had a verbal job offer yesterday so hopefully all paparwork will be sorted by the 12th and my starting date confirmed - then will withdrew my application for DWP... Better safe then sorry...
