This would make more sense, I was quite baffled as to how all the articulate, literate people on here were managing to score 1s... even a weak example or description of job role should get at least a two.

Thanks. I can see what you mean. I scored 8 on the 1st and 3rd compentencies and I can see how much clearer and detailed they were.

Was a little disappointed at first but it's not a true reflection of the skills/qualities I'm capable of anyway.

Been working for jcp for 5 years now and I don't know one person who thinks recruitment process is fair. I'm sure applying has been a lot tougher for anyone who has not worked for cs before. Maybe they need to review this at some point? But saying that they get the staff they need so why would they change anything in the future?

got my interview today, I had a choice between 29th February til 9th March, different times earliest 9.30am, latest 3.30pm.

My competency scores were 4,6,4,4,4 if that helps anyone and my online test was 94%. Good Luck to everyone else still waiting!!

Congratulations, no need to do research. The interview is competency based as well so they can only ask you about them and nothing else. They may ask you for more evidence of the examples on your form (to fill in the gaps). Get together some other examples unless you are asked for them, particularly an example of where something didn't go so well and how you managed it, its not all about successful outcomes but how you dealt with it.

Good tips are, repeat the questions back to them to give yourself time to think, don't worry about a silence, if you need to have a think ask them it give you a minute, when you've answered the question check with them that you've given them the info required, try and think of an intelligent question to ask them about the job such as will you actually be posted into a position dealing with the 18-24 group or could it be other customer groups. All these tell them you've considered the questions and your answers thoughtfully and you're interested in what you would be doing.

From what i understand they were waiting for all the scores to be out before sending invites. With the score you have i would be HIGHLY surprised if you didnt get an interview!

Interviews will most likely be first couple of weeks in March, taking into account the first and last Saturdays of those 2 weeks.

I am still waiting to hear and was told that it will be end of this week - beginning of next week until we hear anything.

But B'ham have already marked my comps but they are not my home office - that would be Staffs and Shrops which went on hold a week last Friday but no comp scores under their feedback? So are you saying I have to wait for comp scores from Staffs/Shrops and just ignore the B'ham ones?

My husband had his results for Notts a week ago. He got his South Yorks results at lunchtime. The scores were different with different feedback. He received an email at 5pm today inviting him for an interview with South Yorks (well done my hubby). His sift score for SY were nowhere near as good as his scores for Notts??? I have had my Notts sift results a week also but have not had any results for South Yorks. We both also applied for Derbyshire. I got all 1's but OH not has his results yet.

I work at JCP and have found the whole experience at tad exasperating to say the least. I don't think they realised just how many people were going to apply

All that I was told today was that 'only your home office will sift your application' and to ignore anything on CS and to not look at it unti the end of the week. You will only know for definite until you get an email.

Thank goodness - finally got mine this afternoon for G&SW - 45445. Thought it would never happen! Hope it's enough tho...
