LookingForNipsy wrote: »Hi! I was thinking that it was all separate too but I'm not sure if that's correct now because I applied for two districts at the same time - before any testing - and then had to do the test twice. However I added another district later (today) and the test was automatically marked as completed with the scores for the first test I did - I read someone else on here experiencing the same thing.
So adding another district for another go at the test didn't work for me...has it worked for anyone else? AFTER they've completed the test has anyone sent off competencies for another district and then had a chance to re-do the test?
P.S. Luckily I did very well in the test so I'm asking out of curiosity mostly, I just don't think they'd let more than one test stand if they're not having a separate test for each and every application.
Aha, this makes sense. Pity the job ad didn't mention this at the start though as I'm sure it's going to get very confusing - some people will have done numerous tests and others have only been able to do 1!?! :undecided0 -
For this reason we would like to reassure anyone who has submitted or attempted to submit their online application form (including their competency statements/examples) by the closing date of midnight of Sunday 22nd January that their application will be progressed and considered.
However in recognition of the technical issues people have recently encountered we have extended the closing date on the advert until Midnight Monday the 23rd. Where you are still having difficulties with completing the online test we want to help address these immediately to enable you to complete and submit your full application before the extended closing date. They've obviously had even more trouble with applications from Welsh speakers as their deadline has been extended to the 29th.

I wonder if anyone who has applied previously might know anything about the way the areas work, particularly with respect to multiple applications?
I have applied for one area, but could potentially also apply for a second, less local area. I am unsure whether to make a second application.
Does anyone know if two applications are treated seperately, or would two or more applications just be treated as a single application to work across any of the areas applied to? Could an applicant potentially receive two offers from different areas?0 -
Hi all
I done my test today for the south london EO role. I got 97% percentile score (scoring 23/24 and 249/336).
Just looking for some feedback really, is this good? Ive noticed a few people have been putting up scores, has anyone actually been through this process before and if so what did you score to get through?
Found the competency questions a bit of a nightmare but I managed to get through them. I did about 180 - 190 words per question.
Has anyone also got anymore info they can share on the interview process?
lol sorry for the load of questions, just really really want the job0 -

Yes, if you are interested in working in multiple regions you have to submit an application for each one - you shouldn't have to take the test again if you passed it the first time, although a few people seem to have been able to take it more than once. I imagine that it might be possible to receive offers from more than one area unless there is some sort of central register to prevent it.0 -

I took it twice - 97% then 99%. When I applied for a temporary AO vacancy last year I got 90% and got an interview but I know others who got 80 odd % and got an interview also. Haven't got a clue about the cut off point. Maybe even lower than 80%? Fingers crossed for everybody.:)0 -

Thank you. My concern is that the second area which i might apply to is a longer commute, so the first area would be my preference. I am torn between applying for both (on the basis that I might increase my chances of success) or sticking with one application to avoid lowering my chances of receiving an offer in my local area. If the two applications were looked at jointly, one might find themselves being offered a post in any location in all the areas applied to, which would decrease the chance of receiving an offer for a role in the preferred area.
If the applications were treated seperately, this wouldn't be a problem.
Maybe I'm overthinking this0 -
