DWP Recruiting Again - 2012

Just had a rejection e-mail for Lancashire :-(
'We are sorry to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful at this stage.'
And that's with Competency scores of 7, 7, 7, 7, 3
So it does seem a 3 or under and you fail them all. Well for that area anyway.
I did send an e-mail to have them look at the 3 again but didn't here anything back.. I have since received a higher mark for the same competency in a different area.0 -

That's bad luck - hopefully you will get an interview in the other area. The fact you had 4 7's shows you totally understand the issues of writing a competecy and I wonder what they saw (or didn't see) in the 5th one that made them award a 3. What score did you get for that competency in the other district?
Still no scores under Staffs/Shrops and Black Country for me - which is just getting infuritating now. If - as one person on this thread believes - they marked the ones for Black Country by this past Monday I don't understand why they aren't releasing the numbers to all of us as at least one person on this thread has received them. Just no rhymn or reason to any of this process.0 -

That's a shame
Off topic, looks like you're the first to actually get a rejection email. Has your application status changed on the website?0 -
Has anyone here applied for SE Wales? I've had my test results (95% woo-hoo) and my competencies back (6,5,6,6,7) but heard nothing since. I hope they're quicker than last recruitment, it was around 6 months from application to employment then for me!
Incidentally, and sorry if it's dragging up an old conversation but I don't have the time to read all the way back in the thread, how do people allege that there may have been cheating on the test? I can't work out how it's possible to cheat? Not that I would have done, but from a purely scientific point of view, how could it be done????
Good luck everyone, hopefully we'll start hearing of some interviews soon.
Hi, I've also applied for South East Wales, congratulations on your scores ( mine were 84% & 5,6,6,4,4). I was an AO (FTA) for 2 years and was on the EO waitlist but nothing came of that as they froze the recruitment. Hope we hear something either way soon about interviews.0 -

I got 5, 5, 7, 7, 4 for the other area. Although a lower score overall, at least no 3. The feedback for the 4 just states could have been more specific!0 -

So sorry to hear that Arsh
I think they have missed out there.
Hopefully you will be successful in the other district.0 -
Hi everyone,
Well I applied to three different areas, got a very good test score so was hopeful but just received my competencies score back for one area and they are 4,4,4,2,2
Really disappointed as not only did I spend hours on these I also had a three hour appointment with someone from the job centre to get help trying to write these.
My status on all three is still 'We are reviewing your results and your application will progressed shortly.'
Don't hold out much hope anymore.0 -
Well that's me out of contention
3,3,3,3,3
I really thought I done well in the competencies what a joke:mad:0 -

Sorry to hear that. :grouphug: I dread to think of what my scores are going to be. It really is difficult to get them right it seems!0
