Nope nothing yet! You in Derbyshire too then? Have you had your scores back? Best of luck!

Yeah, Im in Derbyshire too. I scored 5,5,7,7,8 .... no idea if its enough to get me an interview. :-/
  • Just got my competency scores for one of the areas I applied to - 6,6,5,5,4.

FYI the two that I got 6s for were for my current profession (though I'm currently unemployed) and the other examples were taken from previous employment and voluntary work.

The comments for the 6s both say good, solid examples with further comments but none negative.

The lower scoring competencies have comments which boil down to 'lacks detail'.

Hopefully, I'll have done well enough to get through to interview where I won't be restricted to 200 words per competency!

    Well done! :)
I agree, if you get through to interview it will be a 'clean slate' - no 200 word limit. You can go in armed with extra info and additional examples. Good luck!

Mine is 'on hold' no scores yet for my competency.

What does 'on hold' really mean?

I don't know because neither of mine have shown as being 'on hold.''.

    It all seems very random.

    Thanks C00kie - I wish I was so sure!
  • Ooohhh, to have the luxury of being "On Hold". Us manc's are still "Your application is awaiting review." :(
  • Well done all on the good scores coming through.

Honestly doing my head in waiting.Another day of checking the sodding site lol. Just wish I knew either way so i can put it to bed so to speak. This whole process has been badly managed. You only have to look at the stories on here with the discrepancies in sift marking of the competencies. I really have lost all faith in the process.

I currently work for DWP as an EO on a permanant contract and have had to apply externally even though i have been an EO for 3 years so proved im capable of the job but because its in a different area of working etc etc I have had to go through this stressful process because i want a new challenge in my career. Joke really.

    Anyway rant over

    Good luck all

Anyone had any competency scores for North and Mid Wales yet (Welsh or English post)? Thanks

Yes I received my competency scores for North Wales on Saturday. The scores were really disappointing 3 4 4 2 4, especially as I took my time to write them & followed 'STAR' but it seems that wasn't good enough. I totally disagree with the scores of 3 & 2 as everyone including myself thought those were the best.

Scores for Glasgow and Lanarkshire should be available to view now.

The problem with compentency is its all about perception, no two people marking the same form will give the same score because they rate it differently.

Dont quote me on this but I think you may be able to appeal your scores for your compentencies....
