WOW Mark, not many people feeling the love for you today.... almost on the verge of cyber bullying
Intentional or not, try not take any of it on board. Rise above it. I think you have done really well and should be congratulated on your high score ( Im just glad Im not up against you in Glasgow haha ).

Anyways, moral of the story is, everyone whether they believe someone or not should treat everyone fairly. Innocent until proven guilty and all that Jazz!!

I would be very very pleased with myself if I had achieved 8s or 9s, so hold your head high and be proud of your achievement, if anything you have proved to me that those scores can be achieved, before your post I didnt think those scores were possible. So very well done indeed!!

Please keep us posted on when you hear back about an interview etc..... :D

Thank you :-) my favourite part was when Sammy suggested that the new people who also found the thread was a conspiracy of sorts, as if I have nothing better to do than create multiple accounts on MSE as an elaborate hoax lol.

I guess people get pretty worked up when stuff like this is at stake but at least they've stopped now. The fact is though whether I got a 9 or a 4, as long as you get to the interview none of it matters anymore! If I mess it up then a couple of 8's and 9's means nothing anyway.

    Dear MarkyMark
Think you have lost the plot here. These jobs are about people. Not about you. Have you ever had to sign on? Gosh, it is a ghastly position to be in. There are people and families out there who are absolutely desperate. I just hope you do not get a job because you exhibit everything that is horrible about staff in the public sector. I hope this process eliminates those who have no interest in what the job is really about.

No. Hope that MarrkyMark87 isn't part of your patch. These are jobs to supposedly help people back to work! Not just about us..................

I have been reading this post for a while now and I am completely and utterly at a loss as to what exactly MarkyMark has done to deserve such negative, spiteful comments.

"I just hope you do not get a job" and "you exhibit everything that is horrible about staff in the public sector" - well I work for JCP so that makes me "horrible" does it.

You tell me what this job is "really about" because I would love to hear your views!!!

I agree. One person seems to have had a problem with MarkyMark when he first said what his scores were (well done by the way) then others have had a go at him which just seems like sour grapes and unless I am missing something I can't see where he has said anything wrong. This forum isn't just for people worrying they haven't done enough it's nice to read a success story.

    Hey Folks!

Another newbie here! Has anybody who has applied for staffs/shrops area received their competency scores yet?

No, mine still says 'on hold'.
I'm not sure if it's being marked or the scores from my Black Country or B'ham sift will be carried over. :)

My feedback was even more generic than that, for each score (a mix of 7s and 5s) I just got "This example, along with the others throughout the application provided acceptable levels of the required behaviours."

    Useful eh?!

Mine were more basic than that - for the 7's I got 'Strong evidence of meeting competency', for the 6's I got 'Acceptable level of competence demonstrated'. Pretty basic eh?

Not yet - the status changed last Friday to 'on hold' and I was told by the recruitment hot line that meant the competencies were being marked. I have had scores for B'ham though - they came on Monday - but nothing yet for Black Country either. This wait is just so frustrating.

I also agree. I can't see what markymark has done so badly to be on the receiving end of such vitriolic comments.

Ignore them mark and I wish you all the best with your interview and hope you get the job.
