Still waiting to get a score from anywhere, 4 areas applied for. Hurry up! Hate having to wait all this time when others had results at the start of the week.

Thanks for sharing everyone, it's really intersesting to see what others have got (good and not so good) I appreciate it.
I'm waiting for feedback but not holding out much hope as didn't do very well in the test, they may not even score my comps?
Either way it would be good just to know, this waiting is a killer!!

    Dear MarkyMark
Think you have lost the plot here. These jobs are about people. Not about you. Have you ever had to sign on? Gosh, it is a ghastly position to be in. There are people and families out there who are absolutely desperate. I just hope you do not get a job because you exhibit everything that is horrible about staff in the public sector. I hope this process eliminates those who have no interest in what the job is really about.

This is so unnecessary. I'm sorry if something I've said has offended you but I really don't see what. I don't want anything to be about me but unfortunately i'm having to defend myself from people singling me out - which then does make it about me! Even after posting this you have carried on in reply to another post saying 'I hope Mark is not in your area'.

If you can point me in the direction of something I've said that has offended everyone then I'll happily apologise. If not then I suggest we leave it there and let people get back to talking about the job.

And for the record I have been on the dole and I think I would be really good at the job.

Nice one Markymark. Youre in my area and I wondered if youd gotten an interview invite yet? with your scores its pretty much a dead cert. :-)

Nope nothing yet! You in Derbyshire too then? Have you had your scores back? Best of luck!
  • Thank you :-) my favourite part was when Sammy suggested that the new people who also found the thread was a conspiracy of sorts, as if I have nothing better to do than create multiple accounts on MSE as an elaborate hoax lol.

I guess people get pretty worked up when stuff like this is at stake but at least they've stopped now. The fact is though whether I got a 9 or a 4, as long as you get to the interview none of it matters anymore! If I mess it up then a couple of 8's and 9's means nothing anyway.

You're right. The scores in the application form will get you to an interview, after that they mean nothing.

I've seen applicants who have really good application form scores but really fail to portray that in the interview.

It's vital to go armed with other examples that demonstate the competencies and be prepared to elaborate on the examples previously given.

Mine is 'on hold' no scores yet for my competency.

What does 'on hold' really mean?
