  • Aww thanks hun - it's lovely to be able to do things others can join in on, plenty of ideas kicking about should we ever run out of NSJ's LOL!!!! Like that's ever gonna happen, there's allllllways something right?

Well I have just finished making tomorrow's packed lunches and the eggs have hard boiled now so will leave them overnight to cool as DH takes them whole anyway. Washing machine on and the pots are done so I feel good that on top of most things. Not so good at it being so late and needing to be up at 6 lol.

Back on in the morning, I'm going to read in bed to send me off.

  • Morning everyone :)

I am in a wonderful mood this morning and I don't know why, well I have an inclination! I was reading my new self sufficiency book last night that I treat myself to (£5) and it's fantastic. For me at least. It's everything I want to try. Now that's motivation if ever I had it!

The end of the month's always a long slow process for me. I get everything paid in the first 2 weeks and the last 2 weeks are about treading water and staying afloat.

From this pay I need to buy some holiday clothes for the kids and also a few outfits for myself which I m dreading as I never know what to buy for myself. Really looking forward to the holiday though.

Right - I am off to do my accounts and see what I can reduce!

  • Right all my normal payments are now made and I am waiting for the balances to catch up so shall leave it over night. Also my loan payment from 21st isn't showing - bl00dy technology.

I can't wait until I am debt free - I shall not have ANYTHING like this again.

In fact I may keep my money under my mattress.

So overpayments will be made tomorrow.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi there

Don't you just hate it when the bank doesn't have a real time display? I find that with some overpayments..sometimes they are immediate and sometimes not and it's not a time of day thing. It's annoying, especially yesterday when I was trying to run down my current account balance to the nearest pound!

Just making cookies on my new bakeware so hoping for perfect results! Also inspired by MrsPG have some rice pudding cooking in the SC!!

Hope you're having a good day( apart from annoying banks!)

  • SUB 3k on loan!!!!
    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Wow if this is how I feel at sub 3k then how on earth will I feel when I am DF!!!!! Bring it on.

I have more overpayments to make but I don't want to leave myself short so letting all of the DD's get out of the way first. I have to be careful this month as it's holiday's coming and I need spending money and clothes money for the kids (and me!). Still overpaying though. :T

I am SO pleased that my loan starts 2 now - it's a relief and prrof that it's working. Bring on October when it'll be gone and I can hit the next one.

Last night I did my non standard job of sorting through the dining room which was a lovely feeling and this morning, even before the loan news, I am full of the joys of spring as the sun is out!!!!!

My chicks had laid me an egg before work and things just seem good for a change - What a lovely day. :A

    Well things are ticking over.

I had an unplanned day off yesterday which was lovely and managed to get some holiday clothes bought. I took the cash out as that registers straight away in the bank and is what I intend to do in the future.

All my direct debits have been taken now so I shall wait until tomorrow for the bank account to reflect overnight and will make an overpayment tomorrow.

I'm also joining WW tonight which ISNT MSE I know but it's until hoiday and will keep my mind in a good place. 7 meetings until the hol.

So financially things are good, ticking over just nicely. There's a worry at home though - Dad's had eye laser treatment and has bad side effects - he is getting is seen too. I don't want to go into detail here but worrying a bit even though trying not to as until he see's the surgeon we don't know more.

On a happier note - the sun is shining again and it makes me smile :)
