    Thanks brizzled!

What a LOVELY weekend in the end. The weather was glorious!!! And due to last the week too! Perfect (even though at work).

I've had to put a days hol in next week as no childcare again but that's fine as enjoy the adhoc days off tbh.

Busy busy this week but no spending except post office delivery charges so that's good.

Soup for lunches this week and meat with veg for tea - determined to lose that stone by the hols!

Spring is well and truly on it's way!

    Morning diary land.

Well financially there's very little to report. On a good note the passport money has been taken so they should be processing it if they've taken the money. The Post Office woman said the photo was too dark but another one said it was fine! Anyway - I sent it off and the money's come out so fingers crossed :)

Apart from that I haven't spent anything. Though I will be come Thursday as a team member is leaving so we're putting £5 each in to get her a gift. Only a small team so I think chocolates and flowers will go down well?

I have been having a lovely time in the garden with my seeds and growing things (I only grow edible things) so looking forward to that this summer.

On the exercise front I have been going "running" if you can call it that 3 times a week and it's starting to get easier but the scales aren't changing - despite eating low fat and keeping my portions in check. What's that all about? Learning to eat 3 meals a day and only to my hunger levels, not my greed levels! It's interesting to see how we just get into habits of eating certain things at certain times of day.

Right - work is very busy at present so I best crack on with that. One thing on the work front, when we move offices I won't be able to go out on a lunch time so diesel will be saved then, just as well as the price of fuel is shocking.

    Hi DF

Sounds like youre making good progress hun. Have just had a knee op otherwise would be joining u running. It's great but it will take a while to shift the weight you want to and remember muscle is heavier than fat too!! Think it's great exercise and it's free.

The garden is great at this time of year isn't it..all that promise, not too many weeds and the spring colour popping through. Hope that OH will get some seed potatoes into the allotment later this week. Also plan is to rejig the front garden so we can get a bench in..maybe a small shed type thing for all our recycling stuff too...a bench is cos we like to sit outside and chat to the neighbours..:D

    Have a great week

    I'm back :j

I haven't been on for what feels like AGES! However I am back now. Basically I was busy, then travelling with work (booo) then poorly and then my boss was here sat at my screen for a week and we moved offices so I have had a busy busy busy few weeks. Only now do I feel like I am getting back in control again. I have missed being on here soooo much.

Good news is that I have a bit of extra cash come my way - just in time as the washing machine's broke! So I have bought a new one (another booo) although I am quite excited at getting a new machine cos I am sad like that :T .

I have also given me and the kids a bit of a wardrobe overhaul as both kids have had their miracle grow and are well and truly growing!!! Even my daughters tops are too short for her which normally they are ripped or something before outgrown in the legnth. My son's trousers were all getting too short for him too plus I have literally no summer clothes - I just wore the same things all year round.

With us going on holiday soon I have ensured the clothes with do for holidays and home days so am rather pleased with everything I bought. I also treat myself to a new charm for my bracelet and some pamper treatments before we go away.

So which part of this went to the debt I hear you wondering..... Well none yet is the answer! Reason being I am waiting until after the holidays to see what's left as I don't want to worry about money while I am away.

Budget wise I am really pleased as everything's in line at the moment and I have taken it out in cash this month which has worked a treat and is the way forward.

I have lost half a stone and trying to keep doing so. Runs are starting again this week after being poorly.

One thing I do need to do is get back into the meal planning and cooking as I've been doing a lot more off the cuff which isn't good as it's more expensive or we eat out.

Hope everyone's doing well - will try to catch up asap.

    Morning world

Well I am trying to work from home today whilst looking after the 2 kiddi winks and it's proving such a task! My DS is into EVERYTHING and breaks almost everything he comes into cobtact with.

They are presently fighting - joy.

......OK referee job done, for now. It's raining outside too so not like I can give them the run of the garden either.

The money for the new washing machine's come out and I have a few refunds to go back in so should have settled down by the end of the week when i have made the returns.

Grocery budget on track and no other monies due out that aren't in budget so that's good.

I may try to get a few things on ebay though it may be a rush to get them posted before the hols so I shall deliberate.

Well so far so good, got quite a bit done and just stopped to change little un and give them a snack. Will try to work now until lunch time when I need to pop to shops for milk then little un will have a sleep and DD can paint or so something that he would normally ruin for her. I can get a good couple of hours in then and make any more up tonight when they are in bed.

Had 15 min break to do above and this and have shoved a load of washing in too but god knows how that'll turn out!

Feel a bit wintery this morning
